Hello, Question about Smite Evil dmg: Do the player knows what dmg exactly he dealt? I attacked the monster who I guessed was evil and maybe undead or some kind of dragon <don't know, there are three monsters with x2 dmgs> What is a problem... my game master didn't want to tell me what dmgs I dealt. He was starting shouting about that He doesn't have to do it, saying that there is nothing in the book about that etc. What is my problem: I understand that this is my right as a player to know what dmgs I exactly dealt... especially that it worked that way in every previous sessions. For instance, it started to not. He obviously didn't want to tell me that because I would guess who the enemy is... but come on, this is how this works. Even the GM cannot control every players action... Do I don't have any chance to do that, especially when am I playing as a paladin? I would maybe be not sure if the person is undead or dragon but I should know that he/she is one of them and is certainly evil because attack worked very well... I got angry because it looked like "You did something that GM did not predicted so you are forbidden to do that." There are any rules which specify that?
Hello, How the paladin spellcasting looks in combat when wielding longsword and heavy shield? As I see in somatic description, I need one hand free to cast paladin spells. So, am I correct that everytime i want to cast a divine spell in combat, I need to drop the sword/shield, cast the spell, grab it back from floor?
I was wondering. If Detect Evil on paladin class is a visible spell for other characters? http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/paladin#TOC-Detect-Evil-Sp- A paladin can, as a move action, concentrate on a single item or individual within 60 feet and determine if it is evil, learning the strength of its aura as if having studied it for 3 rounds. My question is: for Detect Evil spell http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/d/detect-evil Component V, S, DF - is it the same for Paladin in this case? That component is verbal and somantic so everyone around KNOWS that paladin is checking allignments?
Hello, I've got a question about Divine Bond ability. http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/paladin#TOC-Divine-Bond-Sp- These bonuses are added to any properties the weapon already has, but duplicate abilities do not stack. If the weapon is not magical, at least a +1 enhancement bonus must be added before any other properties can be added. If I've got for example weapon +1 and add +1 to a maximum +2, can I use those +2 to convert it for example for Holy, or do I need +3 to do that?
Hello I would like to ask you about stacking ST. For example, we've got a 20 lvl barbarian with 12+6 Fort. Save Throw (12 basic, 6 from constitution.) Let's say that he will get two rings of fortitude +5 and cloth of fortitude +5 (it's just an example) Will He get 18+15 of Fortitude Save Thrown or just he will take the highest value from one item (+5) which give him 18+5 fortitude? Will it stack or won't? |
