Backstory:
John is actually not from this world. John comes from Earth, where he died in a car crash and was sent to an alternate world where he took over the persona of a character he played in an MMORPG.
John's character (Dorfin Snowbeard)'s backstory is that he was the bastard son of one of the nobles from the five kingdoms that was sent to the temple of Torag to become a priest.
John has been in the body of his character for the last year and after a few incidents has managed to avoid discussing his previous life, but he has no idea how he came to be here.
Now he just wanders around serving Torag and seeing the world.
