BOOOORRRRRINGGGGG!!!!!!

Just say (prior to game time) give your wishlists to me, and we'll start when you get back from Sassarine with your stuff.

Oh, and compliment them for a good idea.

Yea! lets use all the stupid combat rules they made! Yea! Lets ruin all the fun! Fine disarm this!
Fireball..fireball...fireball...
done playing with the stupid combat manevers they threw in as an after thought????

Stupid designers...why is it easier to (insert stupid trick here) than to stick a sword in them and kill them?

Stupid rules

Good offensive spells for the cleric in Spell compendium

The game was written for medium sized characters. Heck you can say they fudged the rules for small characters. Going large or tiny makes it unbalanced at best. Just forget about it.

Just go straight Wizard / evoc specialize. <BOOM> milkshake...

Yeah, it ain't wierd, but it gets the job done...

I'd say an EL5, maybe 6...

One fireball and they're all dead, maybe even the fighter.

One thing about D&D, it doesn't scale well...

I guess smoking all that pot really does lead to bad business decisions...

Gerf?

I guess since the RoRl Ap will be dealing with the concepts of "sin" I was just wondering how much will the parties be forced to "work" with evil. In STAP I don't know why the party couldn't have been teamed up with an Avatar of a good good to go after demogorgan. The designer's of the AP "forced" the character's to work with demons to accomplish the goal.

Eh, it was just kinda distasteful to me.

Thanks, that's one of the best posts I've read. Please all of you players and GM's TALK TO EACH OTHER before you start playing to hammer out the details. It should be fun for BOTH, not just an exercise for the DM to show his masterwork storytelling...

Really, after that post, there should be no others.

I guess it wasn't as bad in AoW as it is in Stap. Trying to play a paladin in Stap, is at least very frustrating, if not impossible as written.

Since the last two adventure paths (Aow and Stap) were not very heroic, (in the fact that the authors always tried to force you to "parley" or "work with" evil) is the Pathfinder AP going to be in the same way?
Being a champion of good, it's been tough trying to not break the AP by fitting into the story with a paladin or LG character. I know every once and awhile the "moral quandry" should rear it's ugly head, but the enemy of mine enemy thing is getting kinda old...

I like a elf cleric of ehlonna. I take point blank shot, then precise then rapid shot. Being a bow user keeps me out of combat and I only heal people after combat.

I tried seperating the mini off the base of the dream blade figs. They got those things glued in TIGHT! Good luck...

I thought skirmish damage and sneak damage were interchangeable when it came to qualifing for feats. I know the ninja's damage is written that way. They just aren't going to write "prereq. is 2d6 sneak, sudden strike, ambush" as it takes to much ink.

Sorry, had a bad day at work yesterday, didn't mean to sound like an a$$.

James, I think you give the "base move 5 feet" kopru's too much credit. They are nothing but jelly for a well run group of adventurers. I figure that after sacking the temple, they'll kill the brain thingy and then use magic to find a bunch of sleeping aboleths and kill them too...

Kopru = Dumb monster

Yeah, get over it, it's part of the game. Why shouldn't the fighter get to buy his boots of striding and springing if he really wants it? You give the player what you think he wants in some treasure pile and he'll be selling it as soon as he gets someplace where he can, so he can get what he really wants.

Otherwise, why should you ever pick up a gold piece if you can't spend them? If my DM tried to nickel and dime me with every "tax" and upkeep and crap, I'd find another group, I'm in this for FANTASY not being frustrated imitating reality...

Sorry, I'm really zahnb...

Neway, I just wondered if it was supposed to be written that way. Kopru's seem pathetic (at best).

It's like a Leucrotta, Fing genius, but no thumbs...

I was wondering about using Kuo Toa and wondering why the pick of the Kopru's in the non aquatic enviroment. I wonder if the author was told he had to use them or he just likes them for some reason.

And yeah, the last fight IS going to be a b+%&@, but I hate the useless rolling of dice on fights with non mobile Kopru's. I guess the players could get board with shooting them to death and then charge, but why?

Bah...trogs and Koprus for a 11th lvl dungeon... need to seriously fix this.
