Thank you, that cleared up a lot. Just a couple issues left
#2, All characters roll a d4 if it is a skill they don't have, but to that you can add cards correct, a blessing would allow you to roll 2d4 etc, correct?
#3, Kyra would just roll her intelligence die with no modifiers then, if the spell has the divine on it, then she banishes it, correct?

Hi, new to this game and have some basic questions, if you could please respond with the number so I know which answer is for which question - thank you
1. Combat - When fighting a monster, and you have no cards in your hand to help (say all potions or something) how do you fight? What/which Skill do you go by? Say Valeros has no weapon cards, only 4 blessing cards in your hand, how do you combat a monster?
2. Spells - Erzen for example - Doesn't have a divine skill, so he can't use any spells that say divine on them? Or can he but doesn't get the +2?
3. Spells - Acid Arrow says to banish if you don't have arcane, so if Kyra pulls it from her deck, you banish it to the box right there, do you then pull another card to get to your hand size?
4. Spells - If the above is right, then what happens when you make your deck, that all 3 spells for Kyra are arcane, this scenario she has no spells she can use, unless she finds some?
3. When you come on an item in a location, do you have to roll to get it, if you don't roll enough to aquire, or don't want it at all, you just put it back in the box/banish correct?
4. If you fight the villain an lose, does he go back into the same location/shuffle in, or can he jump to another location? If he moves to another location, and now that location has the villain and a henchmen, if you defeat the villain here before you encounter the henchman, do you close it (henchmen becomes null) or does the villain move and you still have to beat the henchman to close

Sorry for the long list, really would be great if anyone could simplify, especially the combat and spells part
