Jess scopes the others leaving the dance floor. She turns to Jaime. "I'm going to go check on my friends, make sure everything's okay. You can come with, if you want, or I'll find you again soon." Whether Jaime follows or not, she heads in the direction of Hayden and Deirdre.
Jess flashes Jaime a reassuring wink and a smile. She looks over to Fahed. "Perhaps in a bit? Not brushing you off. I'm just still dancing with Jaime, here." She gives Fahed a friendly smile and turns her attention back to Jaime.
Jess takes Jaime's hand in hers and leads her out to the dance floor. She sidles up to her, moving and swaying (and occasionally grinding) in time to the music. At one point during the dance she leans in and nips Jaime's earlobe. "It's good to see you..."
That works. How did I save you? Ideas?
Jess will introduce everyone. She leans in for a hug with Jaime, holding it perhaps a bit longer than necessary, and giving her a bright smile as she pulls back. "Nice ta meetcha, Nina. How do you two know each other?" She closes her eyes for a moment, then slowly opens them, enjoying the feel of the drugs starting to hit her system.
Jess grins at Deirdre. "Right? Decorated in high-school stoner, and smells like eau de bong." She giggles, then holds a hand out for the dogs to sniff before trying to pet them.
"Oh, no, this doesn't shout "dealer" at all. Nope." Jess murmurs as they approach the house.
Jess grins at the banter. "Let us gooo. Whether or not they realize it, the party hasn't actually started yet. But it will once we get there."
Jess changes into a black Iron Maiden t-shirt with ripped, tight jeans and red Converse, tousling her hair with a bit of gel and applying pitch-black eyeliner to go with her crimson lipstick. She skips back downstairs to meet up with the others.
Jess winks at Ashton. "What you have, that he doesn't have a ton of... is me. Must get ready. Back soon." She traipses off towards her room to get changed.
Jess pulls out her cell to call Jaime. "Jaime? Hey, it's Jess. Yeah." She laughs at something. "Right? Oh, yeah, it was the worst lecture ever. Hey, so listen... are you going to the party tonight? THE party, that little Lord Fauntleroy is throwing. You going with anyone? Because I'm not. Well... with my friends, but not WITH anyone." She giggles. "Yeah? Together, why not? Oh... Deirdre, JJ, Ashton, and Hayden. Mah SQUAD. Yeah. So, you in? I'd really like to see you..."
Jess grins. "I know someone who knows someone whose sister's cousin's nephew's brother-in-law's dogsitter's barista's doppelganger's archnemesis is going to Lord Dennison's party." She pauses. "Okay, I might have had one too many connections in there. But still... I could ask. Or... well, Deirdre's idea sounds like it could be cool, too." She shrugs.
Either can have the string, and I will have been looking through the other one's things. :)
Jess is about 5'7" and willowy. She has short, wavy brown-almost-black hair and deep brown eyes. She usually wears dark makeup, but not always in a gothy way. Her skin is tanned and her eyes are sort of smirky, like she's constantly about to reveal a joke she's been playing. Someone begins with a string on her: One of the others caught you
Additionally, she begins play with two sympathetic tokens. I will say that one of them belongs to an NPC, Jaime, a girl she's seen at the library that was flirting with her. One night, while they were studying near each other, Jaime was biting her nails, and when she got up to go to the restroom, Jess took some of the nail bitings. The other belongs to Deirdre.
