Sorry, con's internet was spottier than anticipated, but I'm home safe and sound with a connection that isn't a crappy hotel's
Jessarae will see what she can recall of spriggans
Knowledge Nature1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17
"It... it makes no sense that they would attack such a joyous affair. Weddings should not offend the fey"
She seems distraught.
"Thank you all for coming to the aid of my friends, though. You risked your very lives, and for that I cannot thank you enough. Do any of you have lingering injuries or pain?"
As she speaks she will go and give what treatment she can to the injured
Dragoncon this weekend, I'll have my laptop, and I should post every day. Just a heads up Reflex Save1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9Cursed Dex damage!
Jessie, her reflexes dulled by venom, cannot avoid the vines that wrap around her legs, rooting her in place.
She shakes her head, noting the wounds of all those around her.
I can't keep this up forever, but I have to try my best!
She nods to herself, deciding to hold nothing back.
Once more she releases a burst of positive energy, healing all but her foes.
Channel Energy3d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 4) = 11 Healing to everyone except the enemies
Seeing Koremar take more hits, she focuses even more healing energy on him, casting in an instant a spell that would take great effort on the part of anyone else.
Combat Healer + Cure Serious Wounds through Lesser Rod of Reach Conservation of resources? Who does that? 3d8 + 7 ⇒ (6, 7, 8) + 7 = 28Healing to Koremar
The spiritual dagger continues to bite into its assigned foe.
Attack1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26 Damage1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
I'll keep a status tab here with all my resources remaining on it.
Noting Koremar's strategy, Jessarae decides to follow suit.
She concentrates on the energy, focusing now on the martial will of Pharasma - the aspect of Death, a side she does not often delve into. Discomfort shows plainly on her face, but the motions come instinctively.
She finishes the spell and an impossibly sharp translucent silver dagger now floats next to the same foe Koremar targeted.
It slashes at the creature, and beings to follow it.
"I don't know who they are, but we can't let them hurt anyone else!"
Jesserae is clearly distraught, her contact with the Death aspect turns about, like a spring returning to it's proper size, and she releases a wave of life energy just as potent as any she's created so far, but requiring far less effort.
Quick Channel3d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 1) = 8Healed to all allies, I select out the 3 new foes
Bless Remains up. +1 Morale to all attacks and saves against fear. The spiritual weapon will last 6 rounds after this one.
Jessarae, are you aware you have no spellcraft skill, from what I can tell? Was that intentional? (If not, you can retcon it if you want...)
I had intended to put a few points in. I must have done my knowledges and then forgotten. She should have three ranks (she's mostly self-taught, so I didn't intent for full) I can take some from heal and survival. The total would be +7. Thank you for allowing me to correct my mistake
She concentrates on her spell for a time, obviously casting something, and when that is complete she smiles and replies
"I'm Jessie, well Jessarare, but everyone calls me Jessie. You can, too, if you want."
She looks around - odd for someone whose eyes appear completely white - and a note of concern crosses her face
"They had a nasty sting those bees. Did the venom get to anyone else? I can also heal wounds, if need be."
No worries, that's what Lesser Restoration is for, hehe
Are we still considered to be in combat, or are we out of initiative now? Assuming we are...
"I did the healing, though I need no thanks. You risked yourself for my friends. It was the least I could do."
Jessarae smiles.
She looks around for any guests who still seem on the brink to give what help she can. If her channel was enough, though, she turns her healing inward and casts lesser restoration.
The casting time is 3 rounds, so she'll only do it if combat is over 1d4 ⇒ 2
Seeing that many are reaching their limits the worried gnome approaches and lets go with another pulse of healing positive energy, hoping to aid those in pain.
Channel Positive Energy3d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 3) = 12
"That was too close, I've never seen bees do that!"
Seeing the bees flying in the opposite direction they should, Jessie tries something a little unorthodox.
Grunting with the swelling from the venom coursing through her blood she again summons a deluge of water. This time, though, she places it on the far side of the bees, drenching those farthest from the tent.
This will drive them into our trap she silently wishes.
"Augh!" the small gnome swats the insects to no avail. "This isn't working. The waters bothers them, but won't stop the swarm from forming back up. And weapons don't harm enough of them to make a dent!"
Jessie steps out of the swarm surrounding her and concentrates her powers on dealing with the poison.
Jessie, not sure how to deal with a swarm, will cast Create Water and dump 14 gallons of water on the eastern swarm, hoping that the water might have some effect. She will continue to make her way to the gazebo, pushing through the crowd as best she can.
Current buffs/durations: Sanctuary 5 rnd, Bless 69 rnd
Jessie's eyes narrow as innocent guests - friends - fall. She is not a creature of offense, but she hopes a few around her may be.
Looking inward to her connection to Life she uses her force of will to increase the vivaciousness of those who might repel these wayward insects. The motions and words come instinctively.
She casts Bless
+1 Morale to all attack rolls and saves against fear for all allies within 50ft for 7 minutes. All wedding guests are considered allies.
She will move to the entrance to the gazebo to try and block the bees from entering (her destination is likely next to wherever Koremar ends up)

Jessarae searches the bleached gnome's face for signs of ill intent.
Sense Motive1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32
Though the others may be uncomfortable with one who is undergoing the dreaded bleaching, that doesn't make him an object of hatred automatically - at least not to Jessie. If he seems cruel, evil, or just plain mean Jessie won't let him win the girl, so if she senses impure intent, she'll bid 3 gold.
She's not interested in these girls... or really any girls for that matter, but the companionship granted by winning a bid need not be romantic. And there are few things she likes more than making friends.
If he's not mean, and is just ostracized for bleaching, she'll stay out of it.
Hearing that the bidding has begun, a look of worry crosses the gnome's face.
"Oh no! They've started the auction already! I might not make it before everything is gone!"
She turns back to her new bear friend.
"Bror, I have to run off for a bit, but it was a pleasure to meet you. Make sure these little ones don't get themselves into any trouble! I hope to see you again, friend, perhaps in later celebrations."
Jessie will scamper off towards the auction, as quickly as her small legs will carry her. She likely won't make it until the next item is up for bid, though.
"The little ones just don't know how to listen to hear animals properly. We gnomes have ties to a wondrous place called the First World, and so we know how to hear in ways many of the other races have forgotten."
She nods authoritatively. "But that's not important. Today is a day of celebration, so if fishing brings joy than we should fish! These children would be honored if you could show them the fishing skills of a great bear!"
Jessie turns to the children.
"He says he's the best fisher in his homeland! Bears are very good at fishing, so if he's the best, he's extremely good."
Jessie laughs. "Well you're certainly friendly! I'm sorry to hear about Asbjorn's friend's death, though. He certainly is lucky to have such a strong and loyal bear at his side, though!"
The gnome smiles up at the bear.
"I am also hear for a friend, though the reason is much happier. A friend of mine is getting married today! That's the reason for all the food and celebration."
"Bror, is it? That's a lovely name! As for the other little ones... hmmm, how to put this... "
She thinks for a moment, staring up at a sky her eyes can't see "I'm not human like them, but a gnome, and gnomes are much smaller. Like a black bear and a grizzly. Similar but smaller. I'm glad to hear you like little ones, though. I like bears. Well, I like you anyway, and you're the only bear I know. What brings you here?"
Jessie will approach the bear slowly.
RP Sense Motive 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27
Sensing no hostility she will quicken her approach, skipping up to the large animal, smiling the whole time.
She then activates Speak with Animals .
"Hi there! I'm Jessarae. What's your name? I've never met a bear before! What brings you here? "
Diplomacy (modify as you see fit for creature type) 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (13) + 17 = 30
Apologies, I misunderstood... reneg then, ignore that last post, please.
Jesserae had spent the time calming her old friend Elyin's nerves regarding his impending nuptials, when she heard that some performer or somesuch had brought a trained bear.
A bear! And a performing one at that! She thought, I've never actually seen one up close... not that I see much that isn't up close.
The gnome laughs at her private joke.
She resolves to find this bear and to see what tricks it can do, not thinking that the rumor may have distorted the reality slightly.
RP Knowledge (Nature)1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30 I know exactly what will make it happy her internal monologue continued ...honey! Bears love honey!
She grinned at her own cleverness.
She found a small dish, and went to look for any honey provided for the celebration, not that it would be too hard, considering the town is known for it.
Perception1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
But the crowd makes it hard for her to find anything, given her stature.
Still, she persists in searching, the thoughts of a new experience, and perhaps a new friend, making her almost giddy.
Jessie had rarely been happier, and that's saying something for a gnome who is nearly perpetually happy. She tries to take in everything she can see
Perception Check1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
though given her supernatural impairment and natural stature, what she can see isn't all that much.
She spends most of the celebration near her old friend Elyin and his new bride. As the newlyweds dance, she uses her Prestidigitation ability to make them seem to sparkle and trail magical colors as they move.
Good to go here. I linked all my spells and abilities to the PRD. I used one Ultimate Magic feat (Quick Channel), and UM doesn't seem to have been entered in the PRD yet, so I linked the PFSRD version.
I'll put the finishing touches on later today. Skill ranks and description are all that remain. Let me know if you have any questions on my Oracle revelations.
All that's left is a description, assuming I'm still in. Again, I'm truly sorry about making everyone wait. It should not happen again. I'm going to go ahead and post the hook, though again I understand if you would rather I be replaced. I expect no further troubles on the internet front hereon out, though.
Character Sheet and Background are in this profile.
Jess couldn't remember seeing her old friend Elyin happier. They'd adventured together a few years back, when Jess was still green to her gift. The ranger had shown her many things, and they had became fast friends.
And now a wedding! Jessie had never seen an Elven wedding, but the idea of weddings set her heart aflutter. She felt extremely honored to be invited. Elyin made sure she'd be close enough to see the ceremony despite her milky white, nearly blind eyes. She smiled even more brightly than normal.
