Day Job: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

It did go well, you did a fine job. Pacing is always a problem but none of that was your fault, you did a fine job trying to keep us moving along. Even with holidays.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Jaxen once again tries targeting, this time the shields perhaps?

Computer: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

You did.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Computers: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

Jaxen tries to target the opposing ship's weapons, the better to direct the weapons fire. It was good to not be hit... but the computer still disagrees with him on the proper course of action and decides it is time to run a full diagnostic.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Are we in a new round? I thought that my shield balance was my round 3 action...

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

We have 3, as long as we keep track per round we're fine.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Of note, we have a mk1 trinode computer, so 3 checks per round can get a +1, I advise the gunners to each take one of those.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Jaxen will try to remodulate the shields again, hoping to shore up the fore shielding and not get them blasted out of the sky. Balance Action, add up all SP and distribute evenly, with excess to fore. Except that I failed, so no shielding in front. :\ I advise not being front to them.

Computers: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

"Blasted computer, you listen to me!" Jaxen swears in Elven.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Jaxen waits for the "captain" to answer the comms or not, before planning his action. "I could man a gun, but that would take me from the console here."

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Jaxen balances the shields, so that another shot doesn't devastate their hull.

Computers: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Jaxen moves to his usual station at the computer, and tries to scan their way to safety.

Computers: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14

He isn't quite sure whether he did so or not.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Jaxen still just keeps it up with his pistol, near-immune as the thing may be to lasers, it's still his best bet.

Shot: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 3 + 1 = 18
Fire Dmg: 1d4 ⇒ 4

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Jaxen takes a step back, then draws in the arid heat of the planet and shunts it out toward the creature.

Damage: 2d8 ⇒ (6, 8) = 14 DC 14 Reflex Half

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

"A gun of that nature could prove a useful tool, especially if we are going to run into more trouble the likes of which we found previously." Jaxen takes the analytical approach. One can have only as much preparedness as he has foresight, and it was never a grievous disadvantage to have too much preparedness.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

"I have no particular stealth or skill at scouting," Jaxen supplies.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17

Feeling pretty good about those rolls.

Jaxen perseveres.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Same.
Survival: 1d20 ⇒ 2

Jaxen, a technical individual if ever there was one, has no idea what he's doing with regard to nature.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Could we not have our suits up?

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Just being my character. :P I would otherwise have appreciated any assistance.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Computers: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18

The Science officer has absolutely no difficulty in scanning the planet's surface on his own, thank you very much.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

"I have no further needs, though I do intend to enjoy the hospitality offered. Should be able to recharge on the way home." Jaxen makes himself at home and comfortable, though he remains near the science officer post at most times.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Computers: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

Jaxen starts examining the computer systems to see if he can figure out how it would interface and give him the information he's requesting.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Eh, I'm just not sure I want to blast em again, kinda wanting to save remaining slots.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Jaxen moves into the recently vacated space, knife in hand, and strikes at the blue skeleton.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Unlikely Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Jaxen moves around the corner, potentially drawing ire from the blue skeleton, and draws in the excess heat from his surroundings, channeling it through a wrist computer and then outward from an extended hand. It rushes in a flaming burst toward the skeletal opponents there.

Damage: 2d8 ⇒ (3, 7) = 10 DC 14 Reflex Half

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Engineering: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19

Jaxen pores over the ship's structure. "Interesting. Haven't been this close to Eoxian technology before... willingly."

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Jaxen speaks up. "Apologies, I was a bit distracted after all that commotion with the shields and the repairs. I both own a flashlight and can create a few motes of light that will follow us as I will them, for those who can't see as well as I."

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

WOO! Super effective Engineering skillz. I spelled it with a Z for emphasis on how cool I obviously am.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Jaxen redistributes the shields, as he should. "Raia, you should recharge the shields if you can, we don't want to get blasted hard."

Computers: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
If the ship is tier 2 or lower, that should work, and should remodulate 7 into all the shields, except 9 in forward. :)

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Jaxen tries to target again, this time at the engines because if they're being outmaneuvered by dead people, he doesn't want it to be his fault.

Computers: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24
Awesome! That should make Korskal's shot a critical!

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

No, I was just saying that per my sheet damage should be going to their weapons, shouldn't it? Also, you were 1 away from a critical, because I double crit range when I target. :P

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Jaxen decides that that which is not broken need not be fixed, and once more targets the weapons systems onboard the Threnody.

Computers: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Jaxen continues trying to target the weapons, since the last time didn't prove particularly effective. "Blast them!" He says, only slightly exasperated with the fact the dead are threatening them.

Computers: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Jaxen for this round spends his energy targeting the weapons, specifically on the opponent's weapons! He doesn't want them blasting him out of this pretty seat.

Computers: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Altronus has Diplo +5 for a decent captain. Ian could either take Computers and send me to Engineering, or take gunner himself since he's at +3.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Acting as Science Officer for this round, I will scan the enemy ship, hoping to learn as much as possible.

Computers: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Over internal comms, Jaxen will relate his findings and also his suggestions: "We can either negotiate or strike, as we have one of their number captive they may be open to an exchange of data for prisoner, and even if they aren't open to that, their back has taken enough damage that lighting them up should be child's play."

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Indeed, Jason has been hardly here at all, and June has been absent nearly a week.

Computers: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26

Jaxen skillfully operates the scanners, finding out whatever he can about the debris and wreckage. "I seem to be getting something here," he states rather obviously.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

While I would like to do that, neither computers nor engineering has a thing for scanning. Shipboard combat would seem to say it's Computers... ruling?

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Computers or Engineering +7

"As I said, I will handle science or engineering... or science and engineering. Whatever is needed of me." The elf looks a bit haughty, being useful as he is.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

HeroLab is still developing it, that's why I'm using a nice excel sheet.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

GM zebeev, I do indeed have a Legacy Race boon for this character. I can provide you a picture of it if you would like.

An Elf arrives, in standard gear and looking equipped for any manner of pursuit. "I am Jaxen Styar. I am capable as a science or engineering officer for a ship, and should we find ourselves in a violent situation, you can trust that I will see to it our aims are met." He chooses not to elaborate, but the various devices on or attached to his person seem to support his claims. "Additionally, I will be keeping a full data log and accounting of all activities and encounters on this trip, for the better information of the society and for records." This is not meant so much as a threat as a warning, particularly in case anyone (Exegara) tries anything.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

I will be using this character, had to grab the link to charsheet which I hope to finish today. We can bring her, my purchases will be limited to the original 1k I have.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Keskodai the Shirren Mystic

Keskodai does not put the weapon away, as an animal cannot change its stripes and that which has bitten may do so again. After checking that all others are well enough to continue, including stabilizing the former enemies if possible, Keskodai continues communicating with Exegara. Sigils, you have found them and provided them for sale. We wish to know how you came to possess them, where the ship is.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Don't spend your RP, don't use your serum. Let me help. :)

Keskodai the Shirren Mystic

Keskodai focuses his energy, then delivers healing throughout the area, but only to his allies. Those whom he does not know remain harmed.

Healing Channel, Full Round, 1 RP spent. All allies within 30 feet heal:

Heal HP: 2d8 ⇒ (1, 8) = 9

Note this doesn't heal stamina, only HP.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Keskodai the Shirren Mystic

Keskodai moves to the bottom of the ladder, pistol drawn. You can try to harm the android, but it is unwise. Listen to reason, or we can cause a horrific loss of life, which would be regrettable.

Diplomacy Aid: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Keskodai the Shirren Mystic

Keskodai similarly moves swiftly around the catwalk to get a better vantage point before descending.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Keskodai the Shirren Mystic

Telepathically communicating with what allies he still can, Keskodai says to stay still and quiet, that he will try to speak through this, but to come to his aid should negotiations devolve. To those on the floor below, he holds a grenade in one hand with a readied action to hurt it should his fears come to fruition, while also trying to speak to the assembled masses peaceably. Greetings grave robbing individuals. I am Keskodai and I have questions regarding the acquisition of the starfinder sigils you acquired. We hope you will share this information kindly, but understand that is not always the case. The thoughts are genial, and there is no intended malice, though a wafting sense of distaste flows through as grave robbery is rather abhorrent.

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

Chances are this will devolve into violence.

Dataphiles

Male Elf Technomancer 1

Keskodai the Shirren Mystic

Keskodai lets his allies know of the people ahead, telepathically so as not to give anything away. He prepares his pulsecaster pistol in the event violence ensues, but keeps that hand lowered so as not to present a threatening front. There appear to be four of them, be careful not to start anything prematurely.
