Let's bring this up Beyond the impossible, Add to the board 6 more levels of barbarian for the swift foot rage powers wich are required for the special sprinting power, you can stack it 3 times to get a boost while raging. Also, have the character be Catfolk, why? Because of the Sprinter racial trait, which can be upgraded by catfolk exemplar. this alows that during a run, withdraw or charging action the catfolk can add 20ft to movement speed before it's multiplied. So what I have is a catfolk
Fleetx15
totaling Base 30 + raptor 30 + fleet 75 + monk 60 + Ki 20 + Cleric/oracle 20 + barb 10 + rage 15 = 260 + catfolk run/charge 20 = 280 Giving the raging catfolk raptor a charge range of 580 feet and a run speed of 1560 feet
I'm playing a catfolk rogue in my current campaign and I noticed something recently about one of their unique rogue talents. This is what it says in the book: Catfolk rogue talent: Deadly scratch: "A caltfolk rogue with this talent can apply poison to her claws without accidentally poisoning herself. a catfolk rogue must have the cat's claws racial trait and the poison use class feature before taking this talent." While this would be an incredible talent, it's undone by one thing. The poison use class feature requirement. If the player had poison use he would be able to apply poison to his claws anyway. It would be a waste of a talent. However, if instead it was, "AS IF he had the poison use rogue talent" then it would be an amazing talent to have. And would allow minor poison use without using the poisoner archetype. I don't know if this the right area for this or if we can even make a request like this one. But, can this be changed? I copied this from my original thread to put it in a FAQ format, which can be found here. http://paizo.com/threads/rzs2qktt?Regarding-one-of-the-catfolk-rogue-talent s#3 No FAQ spamming intended, when I posted my original thread I was not aware it was used in that way.
Ok, I want to make a front line cleric without multiclassing. So this is what I've got so far. My cleric is a level 6 human cleric with domains in Healing and Glory, with his current stats being:
His current feats are:
with my remaining feat tree being:
(in no particular order) Guided hands lets me use my wisdom instead of my strength to hit as long as I'm using my god's favored weapon. And I've calculated I can get my Wis up to 32. He'res the math. +5 Tome of understanding
=32 or a +11 since at higher levels I get the spell holy sword and divine power that's another 11 right there. Divine power among other things has a maximum to hit bonus of +6.
so 22+ my max BAB at twenty (15) is 37. My AC can get up to 45 +9 mithril full plate (+5 enhancement = 14)
=45 with enhancement bonuses Is there any way to improve these scores? (I'm aware I'm missing out on a 34 wis due to poor leveling and starting stats and I'm aware the dodge feat would give me 1 additional ac. anything else? also, I am ware it will be a miricle for me to get all of this stuff but lets go with the assumption I'm lucky.)
For example, say you have a seven branched sword. Now a when a seven branched sword makes a succesful trip attempt, instead of making it's target prone it makes them flat footed. If the sword had the dancing property, would it: 1. Be able to make a trip attempt on a target? 2. Be able to take advantage of the Improved trip feat if the person using has it? 3. Is it able to power attack? Disarm? A seven branched sword is listed as a disarm weapon but not a trip weapon. Would it make a difference? An important bit of text from the dancing enhancement description. "While dancing, it cannot make attacks of opportunity, and the person who activated it is not considered armed with the weapon. The weapon is considered wielded or attended by the creature for all maneuvers and effects that target items." So while the player using it is not 'armed' with it, he still weilds it to some degree.
What are the rules regarding home villages or creating them? such ass your characters hometown for pathfinder's society? Simply put, lets say you want a particular cultural quirk to originate from some little unknown town your character comes from and have it hold true? or are you to hold to established in universe towns. This is for Pathfinders Society so I'm hoping for a little leeway. As for why I'm asking, that is a bit of a story. Basically it's for the unique burial rituals from my Tengu monk's home town. My Tengu, Elric (a nickname he got because his real name is to long to say in conversation.) Hails from a small cliff-side community in Tien called Shion. the town is structured similarly to the Cliff Dwellers that lived in area where Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico meet. Because of limited building space and the fact that they have to carve their homes out of sheer cliff face, there isn't any place to bury the dead. So the Tengu of Shion have developed a rather unusual burial right. When a Tengu passes away, they are brought to the main living area of their home where the funeral will take place. If he was well known or from a well off family, the deceased may rest upon a bed of flower petals or tree sprigs. Otherwise the body is set upon a cerimonal table or slab, usually one belonging to the family. After the family has said their final goodbyes the Unmeite or 'Hands of Fate' (equivalent to pallbearers) who consist of one, usually two of the deceased close friends or decedents though sometimes consisting of more members or members of a different family respectfully pick up the body. And with all the respect and reverence possible, they throw the body through the window with as much grace as they can muster. Out and over the cliffside, where the body will fall to it's final resting place where it will become one with the earth. Usually on impact. Those attending will usually bow their heads at this point and a common prayer is recited. "May he/she taste the wind in death as they could not in life." It is important to note that the window in question is never opened. The body is thrown through the closed window. This is to represent the passing of the soul from the material world into the beyond. Sometimes this results in broken glass or more commonly broken wood and paper shutters landing on walkway's below, it falls to the Unmeite to clean these anything that has fallen onto the walkway and finding glass or paper from a funeral more than a day afterwards is considered an ill omen. My Tengu has already practiced this burial right once at the black rose museum in 'Echo's of the Overwatch'. When we found the body of a fellow pathfinder. Needless to say Nigel was rather confused by the whole situation. As Tengu burial rights have not been explored *to my knowledge* I thought this wouldn't be too much of a problem. Note, the body is not being disrespected in the Tengu's mind. He is performing a burial right, albeit not the correct one. |
