Well in under an hour I pretty much got everything I could have wanted by way of response. Many thanks to you both. The E6 system has my interest peaked. I am sure I will end up picking up the Core rulebook but it is nice to see resources available to bridge the gap.

I am considering picking up the Pathfinder Beginner Box to introduce my kids to role playing. Can the community advise if the BB hard stops at 5th level or if there is a possibility to play beyond 5th level without buying the Core Books. I saw there was a transition PDF to easily move you into the core products but I was hoping to keep things simple as my kids are fairly young.
