Jak lounged in his usual spot, lamenting the end of the booze and perhaps the end of the road for Sir Tommy and the crew. He sat in silence, breathing the metallicy smelling recycled air, reminding him that the filters will need to be replaced soon. Just one more thing on a long list of repairs. The former marine sighed but saw no easy way out of their dire straits, he was just waiting for Sir Tommy to acknowledge the reality of their situation. Jak wasn’t really concerned for himself as he was still young, well young enough, to give the corps another shot or try his hand as a mercenary. He wasn’t desperate enough to try piracy… yet, but the others, their options were more limited. The hum of the coms system was a welcome respite from Jak’s internal musings and carried the chance of a new opportunity.
@Rai I think this might work for us.
I think this could be the same planet and we were assigned a mission together, some sort of joint operation requiring reconnaissance or stealth? (Although an all out assault would work too). Ideas?
Daniel Stewart wrote: perhaps a connection is Jak has been working for Sir Tommy as a bodyguard for the last few months?? If that sounds good, then you can each take a new skill at 1. Works for me. Maybe my former commanding officer was a noble or friend of Sir Tommy and recommended him for the job (or anything really, just a thought). |
