Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

My character will be posted in a couple days. School starts tomorrow, so I will be really busy.

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Sure, I could do Serpent's Skull. Link the recruitment topic for me?

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Whatever works best for you man. I can easily tailor a backstory for whatever campaign you want to run. And who knows? I might end up playing something different.

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Sounds like a plan to me.

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Ready to rock and roll!

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Sounds like a plan.

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Let's go ahead and pen the door this round. Thanks.

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Should probably note that if I do see the other doors leaving the room, I will go ahead and leave Giggles to the others. And move to the door adjacent to N11 all stealthy-like this round.

Stealth Check:1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Jack, rather than following Devrim in head over heals, takes a look around the room.

Perception Check: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25

Is that enough to notice the other doors in the room?

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Jack stays put in the other room. Whether or not he is the one leading the charge has yet to be determined. He remains the Masked Eidolon, as it works best for dealing with combat such as this.

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Jack seeing Solace, Devrim and Aerodus have things in hand in the other room, will proceed to take care of the dog. From the table, both arms lash out, claws ready to slash.

Attack Roll 1 vs Bloo: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Damage Roll:1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Attack Roll 2 vs Bloo: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
Damage Roll:1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

The claws find there mark, gutting the dog with ease. Jack then steps down, off the desk, gaining a view of the room where the gnome was. Five foot step to O10.

Round 1: Initiative: 15, AC: 16, Temporary HP: 11, HP: 9, Location: P10

Jack, now the Masked Eidolon, bursts forth from the crate of rotten fish. The top falls to the floor at Solace's feet, chunks and bits of stinky fish fall everywhere with wet plopping and dripping sounds. A fishy eye-ball slides down the mask, over the glowing rune. The rune matches the one upon Jack, for the Eidolon is rather filmy and indistinct. Perhaps the summoner's connection is still tenuous?

The Eidolon shakes off the chunks of dead fish, the skin on the left appearing healthy and whole. However, the skin on the right is burnt to blackened bone. The arms are long and they end in clawed hands, and as the Mask grins, rows of sharpened teeth shining in the dull light.

In a voice that is both inhuman and human, beastial baritone and pleasant half-elf tenor, the Eidolon that is Jack speaks. "It has been quite some time...where is the old man, Yargin?"

Readied action: If Yargrin turns or backs away to make a run for it, I will attempt to trip him.

CMB roll: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

No idea. Maybe GM-PC him till he gets back?

Jack, now the Masked Eidolon, tries to listen to the conversation outside his little box.

Perception check: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Taking the silence as acceptance, Jack started climbing into the box. "Knock three times on the lid if you don't want me to attack the first thing that opens the box up." Jack mostly closed the lid of the box after he got in, and started calling forth the Masked Eidolon.

Taking 10 on my stealth check, not counting bonuses for being covered in fish and the lid being mostly shut is a 19.

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

One Jack in the Box coming up!

Jack nodded as he looked at the rather unappetizing, to put it mildly, crate of fish before him. Sorting through trash heaps in the past had taught him how to handle unpleasant odors, so he had taken several deep smells of the contents of the crate to get his nose used to the smell. He had to stop himself from retching a couple times, but after a few minutes he felt he was as 'attuned' as he was going to be. He looked up at Tyr and grinned. "How about I hide in the crate of fish? Should cause the guard no small amount of surprise when I pop out, give us a bit of an edge."

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Is the crate large enough to fit someone inside, or is it just a small thing?

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Jack nods as he listens to the plans. "How did he bring the fish in?" And now we come to what could be a possible issue...

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

"Yeah, another reason why we wouldn't want to. Let's wait for the others to come back...maybe they will find out something." Jack finds a building to lean back against and waits for Devrim and Solace to return. He does keep his eyes open though, in case some enterprising young pick-pocket gets any ideas, with his purse or his allies.

Perception check of 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

I never seem to roll well on d20s on this board. So weird.

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

That should say "Though Lamm running out with his pants on fire would be rather funny."

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Jack looks over at Solace. "Well, we could set the place on fire...but I have a feeling that might go over poorly with the rest of the docks." Jack grins at the thought. "The Lamm running out with his pants on fire would be rather funny."

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

My character might know...maybe. Duke, any input?

"I don't think his associates would recognize me, but its probably more possible than the rest of you. Unless you guys have met Lamm one-on-one before." Jack shrugs. "Let's find a tavern or go grab the guy that just came out. Just standing out here in a group is too conspicious."

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Jack looks over the warehouse as they walk by, doing his best to be unobtrusive. "Those...are a lot of exits."

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Jack rubs his chin, contemplating the task that lay before him. "Picking up a young pick pocket may be best, but it also could prove problematic. We don't know which one we grab will be a Lamm." Jack sighs. "The direct route may be best in this case. I don't think Gaedren would be expecting an assault on his home, and I could summon a few beasts to serve as a distraction. A large rat would be a sufficient distraction, and make sense in a waterfront warehouse."

For those of you playing along and trained in magic, think Fiendish Dire Rat. Hehe.

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Jack bows his head as he listens to Zellara's warning, and the Harrowing. So Death lies in my path? Perhaps it is not mine she sees, but Lamms. Jack looks up, raising his hood as he does so. "Thank you for the Harrowing, Lady Zallara. Your faith in us is indeed great, and we shall do well not to show it was misplaced."

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Hood already back, Jack smiled. His face smooth and eyes bright green, he brings the look of youth to the table. "As I mentioned, my name is Jack Allorei. I specialize in summoning creatures from the different planes." Jack pauses for a moment, then turns to Aerodus. "Aerodus, could you divine the area of the Warehouse? See what fortifications, if any, and guards are present?"

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Jack bows his head in a simple gesture of respect and thanks. "Lady Zellara, you honor me with your request. Of course you may perform a Harrowing on me."

He turns to Solace, his eyes growing distant as he speaks. "I do not have any experience planning assaults of this nature, but I would prefer not to cause any lasting harm to the Little Lamms. They are homeless children, forced into service by Gaedren."

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Peculiar. The old rat had himself be found. Though, I should of expected this of someone who consulted the Magic to find him. Jack pulls back the hood of his cloak, smiling. "Seems straight forward enough. When do we all leave?" The 'we' in that statement is also fairly straight forward, as it is to include everyone in the room.

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

"The note says she had to step out. Maybe she had a client to see or had to run to the market?" Jack gestures to the note on the table, a shrug seen under the cloak. "My name is Jack, by the way. He turns to Solace. "The message wouldn't of been delivered on Harrow Card, would it?" Jack holds up The Courtesan, face out, as an example.

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Jack enters the shop, nodding once to the person sitting in the chair. So I'm not the only one who received a card? He wanders around the table, stopping for a second or two at each tapestry. The smell of the incense is nice and reminds him of the temple. Wonder why the Librarian has never been down here? He pulls up a chair and pours himself some wine, only reaching into the cloak to pull the Harrow Card from behind his armor and place it in front of him, Courtesan face-up. He pulls off a small hunk of bread and snacks on it, careful to keep any crumbs off the table and himself.

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Jack sets the card down, continuing his reading till the end of the chapter. He takes out a scrap of parchment and records the book and chapter he was on, careful not to spill any of the ink on the book or the table. Capping the ink well, he sets the book aside and takes a closer look at the card. Gaedren Lamm, eh? Its been a long time since I have heard that name...finally I might be able to sink my claws into him. Getting up, he returns the book to the kindly librarian at the Temple of Nethys. "Excuse me, sir? Do you know who happens to live at 3 Lancet Street?"

Diplomacy (Gather Information): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

The old librarian pauses, scratching his chin. "I'm sorry Jack, I don't. Never been on Lancet Street." The librarian returns to what he is doing with a shrug.

"Oh well. Thank you for your time." Jack turns and leaves the library, stopping by his cell to pick up his cloak and pull on his armor. He limps to Lancet Street without much difficulty, keeping the card under his armor and the hood of his cloak up. His dagger is in its sheath, but only cause its rude to show up to an appointment with it drawn. Let's see who likes leaving Harrow Cards in books for random people, shall we? Jack is in a wary mood as he arrives at the address around 5 minutes before noon.

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

A couple different things come to mind. Jack might be studying in the temple, or possibly running an errand for one the Priests. He doesn't usually hunt for Gaedrin till after sunset.

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Jack seems to be the odd one out of the learned group...though if any of you hung around the Temple of Nethys alot, you might have met up with Jack.

Male Half-Elf Synthesist Summoner 1

Jack here. Don't follow Pharasma, but open to any suggestions on how to get the party to know each other.

Ready for final look over and approval.
