Thanks for the welcome. I cannot promise better luck though. My luck seems character specific. I have characters that always save and others that can't pull of a DC 10 fort save as a fighter. Much of what I thought too good with the summoner class was fixed with the unchained update. This included some early access to spells (like Haste, Stone Skin and Wall spells) and the total tailorability of the eidolon. Anyway, I look forward to joining you soon.
Greetings all. I have been invited to join you and am just about ready to do so. I'll be bringing in Jace who is something unique - an unchained Synthesist Summoner. I know that the normal Synth Summoner was a little broken but the GM and I have worked to try to keep the flavor of this class while making it a little more balanced. Your thoughts on the class are most welcome. My hope is that Jace can serve as a party face, provide some healing (through UMD and some direct healing spells, though not at first level) and, with eidolon summoned, be your front line fighter.
