![]() So a recent debate on /pfg/ about the police/city watch's use of the greater detect magic spell got me thinking about how a beguiler would deal with having his arcane trail followed. As far as I can tell, the class doesn't have any defense against this since he doesn't have greater magic aura on his spell list. This would mean any type of law enforcement with access to a level 3 wizard could easily track any beguiler. Am I missing something? ![]()

It's a reference to the fact that the DSP dev that wrote the harbinger often posts in the pathfinder thread on 4chan and insists that he'll never make a harbinger that runs on charisma (even though many feel that the harbinger's whole schtick makes more sense tied to charisma than intelligence). ![]()

As for stacking homebrew and 3PPs, as long as it's an optional rule and not an integral part of the conversion I don't think many people would have problems just saying yes to the beguiler but no to the initiating or manifesting options (or even no to the whole template system). I'd definitely be willing to offer crits and suggestions for these. |
