Your reduced halfling is a tiny creature. A Tiny creature (ie: a familiar sized creature) can ride in a Familiar Satchel (UE p64, 25gp, 6lbs, provides total cover).

Instead of shrinking yourself... How about enlarging the Barbarian? Early on in my Halfling Alchemist's Pathfinder Society career, while storming a small fort, he rode on a enlarged barbarian's back, throwing bombs, then effortlessly jumped on to the 10' adjacent wall. That was fun.

I thought about that as well, which would normally be a better solution, but the question remains, would the Halfling be stricken with any sort of condition for riding in a backpack vs a saddle?

My Halfling Cleric is having a hard time keeping up with his Barbarian friend in combat. I can usually stay close enough for channel energy but sometimes a real heal spell is needed. What I was thinking is that I could commission an item with Reduce Person to reduce my size to Tiny and just ride in his backpack for pocket heals.

How would this affect my character in terms of riding in the backpack? It's not a traditional saddle, so would I be considered Entagled? Maybe Grappled?
