Sorry for the delay, my internet has been down. Thanks for the reply. Im glad to hear that. Now I just need to pick one to run. Anyone out there that has run these in 3.5 that can report which ones work better in 3.5?

I’m thinking of purchasing a subscription to the AP’s and was wondering how hard it is to convert to 3.5? (My group is a bunch of die hard 3.5 guys) I see it says its backwards compatible, but I’m not sure what that means. Are there notes in the AP for conversion or is there a source to use for the conversion? I would also like to hear from people who are subscribers who run the AP’s in 3.5. How has it worked for you?

OK, thanks for the advice. I have read through the 1st three chapters but had only skimmed the rest so I thought I had better check and make sure it wouldn't be a problem/pain later on.

Yes, Zenith and the Malachite Fortress would be good tie ins. I also thought of changing Phalian Gurnezarn of Gurnezarn's Smithy into a dwarf from one of the characters clans. That might give them a vested interest in the town and extra motivation to save it. It might also add to the tension between the Stormblades as it is the only non-Lathenmire smith in town.

Any other advice out there for a DM on his 1st time through SCAP?

Hello, this is my 1st post here so I hope I'm doing this right.

It's my turn to DM for our group and I am going to run them thru SCAP. We get started Tuesday with a character creation session and maybe a small encounter if time permits. The issue I have come to you all with is this. From what I can gather from talking with the group members so far, it looks like they are all going to be dwarves. Will this be a problem at all? Should I discourage it? Also, I have been going thru the boards here for good tie in/character quests to get them invested in the city, and I was wondering what kind of these things I could do with an all dwarven party?(it just seem like there are fewer of these for dwarves & with an all dwarf party, it may be more difficult) Any help/advice I could get would be great! Thanks!
