I'm happy to role play Ivy getting jumpy and firing on it and keep things the way they are if that is easier for the GM.

They will apologize and try to do better.

Leshy change their names regularly to better describe their appearance human and magical fox names are odd to them.

Ivy makes eye contact with the wild man, seeing something familiar in him, as towns and flames are clearly not comfortable places for Ivy, they feel like sticking with this man will work better.

"Lead the way." says a surprisingly deep voice from the shrub sized creature.

Let's say you picked one of Ivy's good berries.

Being that Ivy lives outside the city they would have come in upon seeing the torch go out. But, will follow anyone they see moving urgently and with purpose.

Effectively I'm happy to start whereever and Ivy following someone is the easiest way to make that happen.

I just have to make the update to my character sheet and I'm good to go. Then just pray I don't regret playing a lot non-human ranged character at level 1.

Ivy is local. Though they live outside of town they come into trade and drink and are odd enough looking that I assume most people will recognize them.

Question for the group.

Is every pretty comfortable with positioning to avoid soft cover for ranged characters?

If so, I can free up a trait and be able to roll religion and planes.

Dommer if you want to stay with nature Ivy has a free trait still so I can pick up local or planes. That might be better for the group over all.

The familiar archetype I was going to take gets crafting stuff by default and I will eventually have a lot of extra feats. I think wonders item is the top crafting choice in the game with wands and weapons next.

If we want a crafter in the group I can build for that quite well with valet familiar.

I consider perception, diplomacy, 6 monster knowledge and spellcraft top level skills. It would be good to have them but not necessary. Sense motive and bluff are good to have, survival for the right campaign.

I'm not super into crafting. It can be really helpful in gear limited campaigns. To date, I have not found many APs that have much time for crafting. The story tends to move along quickly. I know some have the time but I usually wait to make a decision about crafting until I know it will be useful.

Unfortunately, my traits are required just to make the build work. I will switch to sense motive as it will be as good as my spellcraft but will have better growth as I'm more likely it invest in wisdom.

I can switch from geography to history but that would make a lot less sense and would be much worse.

I can also build my familiar as a figment sage for extra skills if we are really strapped.

If it changes people's plans with the familiar my perception will be +10 and it's will be +14.

Filled it out. Druids don't have a lot of class skills. I can move some stuff around though there are not a lot of optimal options.

Ivy has decent wisdom so sense motive is an option.

Ivy is definitely one of the odder characters I have built. I'm going to take numerian lore as one of my BG skill due to the integrated piece of technology but he will not understand the source of the knowledge he has.

Ivy the Vine Leshy whose body is formed around a piece of numarian technology like a tree growing around a fence it has corrupted his body making him look more like a plant monster than his cuter cousins.
