SPECIAL ABILITIES
Atavastic Avatar (Dedication) Ismaire is imbued with the spirit of a fallen Mendevian crusader. When she enters a bloodrage, the spirit enhances her rage, granting her Iron Will and the Dutiful Strike ability (below).
Aura of Good Ismaire radiates an aura of good as a 4th level paladin.
Bloodrage Ismaire can enter a bloodrage as a free action. While raging, she gains a +4 morale bonus to Strength and Constitution, and a -2 penalty to her AC. When she exits her rage, she is fatigued for a number of rounds equal to double the duration of her rage.
Dutiful Strike While raging, whenever Ismaire is the target of an attack, harmful spell or whose area or effect includes her, she gains a +2 bonus on attack rolls against her attacker. She also deals damage against that target as though she were one size category larger. This effect lasts for a minute, until she is attacked by another creature, or the target of her dutiful strike is reduced below 0 hit points.
Raging Statistics When Ismaire is raging, make the following changes:

Divine Health Ismaire is immune to all diseases, including supernatural and magical disease.
Divine Grace Ismaire adds her Charisma bonus (+6) as a bonus on all saving throws.
Enduring Scar Ismaire has numerous supernatural scars granted to her by Vildeis. She can call upon these scars in a variety of ways a number of times per day (currently 11).
Blood I, II, and III As a swift action by spending one of her enduring scars, Ismaire can imbue her melee weapon with the vicious weapon special ability for 6 rounds. Since she has this scar a second and third time, the extra damage from vicious is instead 2d10, and the damage received is 1d10.
Mercy When Ismaire uses her lay on hands ability, she can use this scar to apply the benefits of a paladin mercy she doesn’t have but for which she qualifies. Her scar seeker levels (10) stack with her paladin levels for this ability.
Sacrifice As an immediate action, Ismaire can share the damage taken by one ally she can see within 30 feet. This function as shield other but lasts only until her next turn or until the ally moves farther than 30 feet from Ismaire.
Fast Movement Ismaire’s base movement speed is increased by 10 feet.
Lay On Hands Ismaire can heal her self as a swift action, an ally as a move action, or harm an undead as a standard action with her touch. She currently heals 9d6, and can use this ability 15 times a day.
Mercy Ismaire removes fatigue when using her lay on hands.
Painful Purification If Ismaire has expended all her Enduring scars for the day, she can activate scars by instead taking 1 point of damage per Hit Die (currently 11) instead. This damage cannot be healed until she rests for the day, and cannot be ignored, reduced, or redirected.
True Martyr Ismaire can embrace death in a final act of defiance. As an immediate action, she can take half the damage dealt to all allies within 60 feet by a single effect, such as a breath weapon, melee attack, or cave-in. If this damage would kill her, her blood coalesces in her space in the form of a lawful good monadic deva (Bestiary 2, pg 27) that fights in her place for 1 minute before dissipating. She can use this ability once per week.
Sanguine Sacrifice Whenever Ismaire uses her Painful Purification ability, she gains a +1 morale bonus on attack rolls, skill checks, ability checks, and saving throws for 1 hour. Multiple uses of this ability increase the morale bonus by 1, to a maximum of 3.
Sentinel of Meraz Ismaire is a Sentinel of Meraz, and bears the tattoo of a watchtower and scimitar on the back of her hand. She gains a +1 bonus against the spells and effects of daemonic creatures. She also can never be possessed by daemons using magic jar or similar effects. Daemons always recognize her as an enemy, even if the tattoo is covered or disguised.
Smite Evil As a swift action, Ismaire can smite a creature. If the target is evil, she gains a bonus to hit, damage, and bypasses any DR the target might possess. The bonus damage is doubled on her first attack that hits if the target is an outsider with the evil subtype, an evil-aligned dragon, or an undead creature.
