Hi, I noticed a discrepancy between usual shipping costs for AP subscriptions and my authorisation email. Entry in the email:
Usual charge (also shown if I watch the pending order through my account):
Could you please clarify which one is the correct shipping cost? If shipping has indeed gone up by almost 50% I would most likely be better off to buy my AP in the store. Thanks,
Hi, the authorisation for my December subscription failed. A case of bad timing of the November shipment and other charges coming in at the same time and on top of that I underestimated the current exchange rate. I have resolved the issue at my end and the card now has enough credit available. Please let me know if you need anything else process the order. Thank you,
Same title twice in a row, how confusing. ;)
Nice preview, as usual. In the spirit of the post a few weeks back I have a couple of questions. 1) Why are some miniatures cast in clear plastic even though the paint jobs do not make any use of this fact whatsoever (e.g., Kamadan, Medium Black Dragon)? I assume some, like the Shadow Demon, may have been planned with some translucent effects but you later decided to go a different direction (I remember something like this happened with the Earth Elementals). 2) What sort of paint/sealer is used? I noticed that most of the (less aggressive) suggestions to strip paint off of miniatures that are out there don't work on this product. Luckily most of the time it's unnecessary to do this even if you plan on repainting the multiples (unless you want to utilise the clear plastic somehow or get rid of the "blob-face syndrome").
Hello, In 'My Subscriptions' the next authorisation and shipping is marked for February. Originally I thought it to be a glitch that occurred during the December authorisation, but it persists. Could you please kindly confirm whether there will be January shipments for Adventure Path and/or Pathfinder Battles subscriptions, so I can plan accordingly? Thanks,
I decided to repaint some of my multiples. While for some I'll only do minor adjustments others I need to strip to start from scratch. Does anybody have some experience for a "not too aggressive" method of doing it? Currently I am using lacquer thinner which is not very healthy and I am running the risk of dissolving my bases (lucky for me that medium earth elemental doesn't really need it's base anyway).
Hi, I was wondering whether I could get a rough estimate on the shipping date for that order. I am aware that I delayed it by adding items last minute. But with the relatively high volume even a relatively vague idea about the shipping date would help me greatly to manage my bank account. Thanks,
It seems there is an inconsistency between the two: PRD - Magic:
Time: The process takes 1 hour per spell level. PRD - Downtime:
you can spend 1 day of downtime to copy up to eight spells from other sources into your spellbook. Should it read "eight levels worth of spells" in the second instead or is it intended that they transcribe spells faster during downtime?
The question in short: How are you handling 3-dimensional combat situations? Is there any material out there with some guidelines? For a game full of flying and burrowing creatures and options for underwater combat, I find PF handles 3D-combat poorly. I don't mean that the rules for it are bad, they rather seem to be non-existent. Most of the material in the CRB concerns 2D battlemat situations only. So far, whenever this came up in games I participated in (on either side of the screen) it has been a source of debate and frustration. It already starts with somebody climbing the walls and ceilings of a dungeon. How far up can a character attack? Can a PC use her move action to jump and try to hit her opponent that way with the remaining standard action? If so, are there any penalties to attack rolls? Do you extend the 5ft square abstraction to 5ft cubes in terms of a creatures space even though this seems a bit weird? Is it just as easy to attack upward and downward as it is left and right, considering there are no facing rules? Does that mean the reach of a creature is still the same in each direction even though they usually have their claws at the bottom portion of their bodies? There are certainly more questions, but I want to cover the basics before I get into more specialised situations. |
