Again that evening a carriage arrives for you. This one has gold gilded on its sides and the horses drawing it are magnificent! Great beasts of fine breeding, Nim and Anton in particular appreciate their majesty, although all of you recognize these as superior horses.

You arrive at a large manor house that is lit with a number of magical lights. You are greeting warmly by a staff that immediately ushers you to a grand sitting room. Chilled wine, fruits, and pastries await you.
Ishirou is also there...he looks well.

My friends, it has been too long. My employer has been keeping me very busy until recently and have asked me to join this meeting. I will answer any questions I can for you.

Just then a middle aged looking merchant enters the sitting room. He is dressed in very expensive garb, with gold and gems adorning many parts of him.

Honored guests, thank you for joining me. I am Dargan Etters, chief representative of the Aspis Consortium in Eleder. Your time is valuable so I will not waste too much of it. We can talk about my offer after a fine meal but please introduce yourselves, I would like to hear your story. You continue with small talk here and over a grand dinner. Rare exotic meats and sides are served, Dargan is obviously pulling out all of the stops to impress you.

After dinner, Working with us has its advantages. First we will front each of you 500gp plus a 1000gp bonus each when the city is found.
Also, we will supply you with up to a total of 2000gp of scrolls and potions of your choice to start with. The consortium is also uniquely able to deal with native populations and set up speedy trade routes to sell any goods you find once we get to the city.
This is a generous offer and frankly you should consider us as the front runner. The rest are fools playing at a game, this is what we do for a living and we are in this to win!
Saventh-Yhi is a mighty prize my friends and I don't aim to come in second. What do I need to do to convince you to join with us?

Assume he will do it again on Anton if he fails as well as Ishirou
Willpower Save Ishirou 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (12) - 1 = 11 fail

Willpower Save Ishirou 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (18) - 1 = 17 succeed as long as Mihai has uses left

Ishirou thinks on the treasure trove for a moment before speaking, You take the items. We should figure out a fair treasure split once we get off this forsaken island. You have born more risk than the rest of us and you still are planning to face Ieana.
I agree with Jasks plan though...you should go after her soon. Whatever she is doing down there probably isn't good. We can wait outside and in case you do get trapped in this mouth we can open it again. If the mountain devil attacks, if we are all together we should have a chance to drive it off.

Corbrius:

Ishirou speaks to you on the way back, So my friend you have held up your end of the bargain honorably.
I feel like you are worthy for me to share a secret with you. My family has trained with swords for generations. I know my skill seems meager but I do have some special knowledge on how to handle blades that you may find interesting. If you wish I can train you on them and with some practice you could benefit from this? My only request is that this is a close held family secret, you must promise to not share this knowledge with others though?

Secret of the blades
By practicing the family techniques shown to you by Ishirou, you have learned to better master your blade. While wielding one weapon you focus on for one week of training you gain a +1 to all CMB and CMD checks with this weapon.
Backswing
Once per day you can focus all of your might into a mighty reverse grip thrust that impales your opponent. For this attack you are granted a +2 to hit, damage, and attempts to confirm any criticals that occur. You gain an additional use of this ability for every six levels you have with a maximum of 4 uses per day at 18th level. (1/6/12/18)

It will take you one week of practice in order to master the techniques he will show you.

Corbrius:

He gets you alone for a moment, We should dig up the treasure. Keep It's not just the gold I am after. There may be weapons and magic buried there as well. Magic we can use against Ieana or the Beast! It's supposed to be a major haul!

A much better feeling Ishirou, I tend to agree with Gelik. We should focus on what we know, she is an unknown enemy, with unknown powers. We have the Red Mountain Devil to deal with, I care little for why we ended up here, we need to focus on getting off.

Ishirou wanders out from his bed, tired but looking better.

I have been listening for some time and been thinking long on the matter.
If the beast wants the creature dead, we should try to play both sides. Find out what you can about this wood witch as Mihai says. Maybe you kill it, maybe not. But at least this buys us some time while we explore more.
If the wood witch is located near the Cannibals, it may take you a little time to get that far anyways and at least we will have the beast off our backs even though we should stay wary, in case it get impatient.

Corbrius:

Ishirou waits until you are alone, Did you get near the treasure location??? Would like to be with you when you decide to open it. The others probably wouldn't miss me.

Corbius grins as the bats fall around him. Kicking one away from his feet he turns and follows the party quickly away from the pile of bats. I am glad that worked I wasn't sure it would

Upon returning to camp Corbius smiles at Tragershen. Color Spray. One of my personal favourites and great for those annoying groups. He says with a grin. Corbius pulls out and unwraps his spellbook and turns to the page of color spray and passes it to Tragershen. Feel free to copy it for yourself.

Corbrius:

He does give you the map. According to the map a cagey pirate captain named Lortch Quellig hid a chest full of treasure under the hilltop on the hex G21 on the bigger map.
The map indicates that to find the spot where the treasure is buried, one must to climb to the top of the hill and wait for sunrise. At dawn, one must simply walk to a point atop the hill where the sun seems to be rising directly between the two spike-shaped rocks protruding from the sea to the east. This is the correct place to begin digging, but what the map doesn’t indicate is the complexity and scope of the treasure pit.

Who are you calling a fool women! I should teach you a lesson...

Even Ishirou seems to take heart now that you have a base and helps out building the camp.

Corbrius:

Ishirou approaches you late that day, So you know master Corbrius I happen to have this treasure map, one of several I own. It is actually a treasure map to this Island. Since we are already here manby we should check it out? I promise equal shares for all who help me find it? He pulls it out and shows it to you, The treasure is still some distance but as we explore more we should go to it when it makes sense. Should we tell the others or just keep this between us for now?
You get the feeling he doesn't want to tell the others but knows you are closer to some of them.

And what are we supposed to do, wonder out into the jungle and get ourselves killed? We stay here, its the best chance of someone finding us!

Look, the ghosts of the Island, they are rising! he says with genuine fear in his voice
