The alchemist has a lot of issues with this as well, some of the alchemical items are prohibitively expensive making them only useful if crafted for free. Like acid flask that deals 1d4 persistent+1 dmg and cost 3gp(30sp) or 1/5th of your 1st level wealth. Its only slightly better than a cantrip that you can cast forever for free, wat.
