On the return Irina coordinates getting her "war chest" packed in a way to load it into the incoming transport just in case. Otherwise she checks her gear to make sure she is ready to go.

Mhmm I took his comment to mean that he knew about -us- specifically but perhaps I am just paranoid.

To the other point about the saber Irina believes (realistically or not) that she can manage a conversation around that. She knows the Masters know that she might have a more complex relationship with the Force and she would sell Thel having it as him not convincing a padawan or other lower tier jedi to cough up a lightsaber. Thel was pretty clear with Skywalker he wanted to look at one, in Irina's mind the Master will jump at letting Thel "ruin someone else's" weapon (not that he would, but that someone might be nervous about such a thing). I see a big sister vibe kicking in with Thel, lol.

A couple things, if folks don't mind.

Irina would like to pocket one of the lightsabers and give the other to Thel. He wanted to take a look at one and Irina is...well...trying to figure out her place in the universe so there is a luring appeal to the weapon.

For most of the other stuff I think it makes sense (To Irina) to build a bit of a cache of "extra stuff". If we are going to be the intergalactic Scooby Gang, it makes sense to her to have an extra blaster rifle to throw at an npc or a stormtrooper armor set to put on someone who might try to infiltrate or trade to someone who doesn't like credits. I can keep of this stuff on my sheet? What do folks think?

Regardless, its clear they mean business. What are the chances they can hear our call if we make one? Do you see a sat array or a droid down there? Irina smirks and nods at Flennic, Oh I have every intention of letting them take the brunt...just not too much, its a nightmare to do surgery in the jungle.

At the realization there is "company" Irina talks mostly to Ean but easily so others can hear here, While this is probably a splinter group is it worth chancing they will take an order from an officer or told to back off? I don't see how any report of Jedi fighting with imperials does diplomatic efforts any good in the current climate?

1. Starship Combat - Of course! I'm a noble. I can make snarky comments about getting out and pushing, point at things that need to be shot at and, ya know, other useful stuff.

2. Organizations - I have not strong feelings here. I can see the fun of it but I'm not falling over myself to do it?

3. Bonds seems cool. I'm all for giving fuel to create connections and rewarding us for doing so.

Dmery responses:

Irina's scars are incidental. Meant more to reflect an active child "willing to get dirty" in a sort of defiance of the norms of her people and of the more affluent. Its why I invested in "decent" physical stats. She ascribes to a sort of "Athenian" philosophy of service and intellect (one must experience the real world and keep the body in good order for the mind to function properly). Its meant to be more that she was the child who showed up at odd hours with mud on her or a cut or somehow worn or haggard, less that there was some specific *thing* that made her the way she was.

I see Irina as being less an activist in a directed energy sense and more a pent up "I have skills and I need to do -something- with them" type. She has a sense of justice but being young its more like "democracy good" and "empire bad" and not so tempered or directed. She has met with affluent success. Was it really her skills that got her there? Her affluence? This strange confluence of oddities that -might- be the Force? I see her as raw and maleable. She is looking for a cause that seems worthy but lacks the clarity of circumstance or experience to know exactly what that is beyond her apptiude as a medical person. That there is the Force and it might somehow have gotten her where she is right now, further muddies her sense of purpose beyond she has a sense she is meant to learn something or do something to teach in a profound manner (her destiny as it were) and that she thinks her skills and position are meant for more than just having. Does that make sense?

The "always on" part was meant to be tempered by her reality. She has this anxious desire to -do something- and be relevant but in her private moments she still exults in life, likes beautiful things and is naive as her planet is one of little strife compared to many worlds.

I personally work and went to school at a place full of people struggling with this transition and grapple with living (and wondering if they can have a nice life) while seeking service...something about this game brought out of me a desire to explore that in this character.
