As the group gets to the GCPD, Iota shrinks down to very small, and sneaks his way in using an air vent.

stealth: 1d20 + 38 ⇒ (7) + 38 = 45

"I can scout it. It won't be a problem. You have anything you want me to leave inside the server or anything?"

"That sounds like a reasonable plan. It's either that or beat up some dealers, but they are likely just small fry and know little. "

"It seems like Gotham is where we need to find our lead. "

"Not a real believer in coincidence here. I think it's a lot easier to take out a satellite rather than tracking down a bunch of drugs. It seems more like the single point of failure to address. "

"We go to go yet? At least before Terminator here tries to kill anyone else?"

Iota is occupied saving a pilot. He can't very well get back into this fight for at least a couple rounds.

I didn't considering that sniping, I thought it an observation. You left him to die.

I will, however, avoid comments in the future.

Iota will first pop his pilot out of the fighter, then seeing that robots actually don't worry about mercy, fly over and pull the pilot clear, flying him down to the ground. At his size, he can do this pretty much invisibly by grabbing him at the back of his flight suit.

I concur, suit yourself. We'll adapt.

OK, was curious as to why he decided to let him die. I understood we are supposed to be heroes.

Was it my pilot or Golem's that failed to eject?

Iota will continue to try and damage the wing enough to encourage departure.

power attack
to hit: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26 Toughness save DC 28.

Iota will attempt to fracture off the wing of his target him hitting it at the root with the fuselage hoping to compromise structural integrity enough to make the pilot eject. He is avoiding doing catastrophic damage.

to hit: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15 DC 23 toughness

When I run games I have players roll initiative so I know they are present before the combat starts. Otherwise you get started, and then you are left hanging in the middle of the action. Others prefer a different approach.

init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20

Iota will fly down under the mask, and stand up so it wiggles a bit (he's about 1 cm tall right now).

Then when she gives out the plan he quips "Sorry, won't fit, gotta go. " and flies out to engage the assigned fighter.

"Did someone seriously expect me to wear one of those? " as he picks up a mask and looks at it.

He puts it back in the case. "I'll just avoid being seen. After all human terrorists usually don't shrink, so I might just give it away if I'm seen. I'll just make sure I'm not seen. "

and he shrinks down to his smallest short of going quantum and prepares to fly down to the airbus.

Did one minor revision to Iota's powers. I made it so he doesn't have to breathe when shrinking. The idea that someone who can get smaller than an oxygen molecule still has to breathe never made a lot of sense. Didn't change much, just cashed in a couple of points on saves to buy it.

Iota would have been in Young Justice, and if most of his buddies graduated to the Titans, he would have followed.

Given that he's was deceived so egregiously by his mother, he developed a deep seated paranoia which meant he had to know everything he could about everyone around him. Hence, he will know Lance is Gravewound.

Owing to his paranoia, he knows everyone else's identities (voluntarily or not). The rest know his name because there was a rather dramatic scene when the Atom had his mother committed and there was a big argument/superhero fight. The rest of the Titans broke it up and found out he was actually Arnold Palmer.

He does have an alternate identity, Arnold Loring (Ray Palmer being his father is not general knowledge, so he generally doesn't suffer from being confused with the deceased golf legend. This does not stop his teammates from razzing him about it.

His arch nemesis would be Chronos, the time bandit, who has achieved a form of immortality from all his time hopping and tech. Chronos managed to finally off the Atom (Ray Palmer) only to find a successor hounding him (Iota). Arnold bitterly wants revenge on the slayer of his father.

Maybe he really likes lemonade and iced tea.

Actually I can probably get away with it since he had his mother's name as a kid and there was no big deal being named Arnold in that case.

He only changed the last name later when he found out his actual background.

As I don't even remember his civilian alais offhand, I'll stick to my method. Remember the last name is Palmer of course, and was always too tempted to name him Arnold.

OK, finished up the alias and character stats. Couldn't find a good picture though.
