thank you so much for all the responses! i can tell this is a great community already and i won't feel ashamed/shy to post questions about anything i'm wondering. thanks again!

I couldn't find anywhere in the rule book where it said exactly how many feats a new character was allotted. It said somewhere "based on their level and class..." but it didn't give the formula. Also, how many hit points do I add each time a character is leveled? Examples would help immensely. Thanks for looking and helping a newbie.
