In a game I'm playing in, we have a Grappler. He has the Serpentine Squeeze as well as improved grappling. Both add an additional bonus to CMB and CMD. For CMD it's when your opponent tries to Grapple you.

If the opponent uses the Escape Artist skill to escape the grapple, do these bonuses still apply to the CMD? Basically, is that Escape Artist skill attempt still considered trying to grapple the PC?

I've only seen one response to this question on the message boards, and it was muddy at best, so if I've missed an official response to this, feel free to call me out on it.

Thanks!

If a class lists that they are considered both an arcane caster, as well as a divine caster, would a mystic theurge be allowed to grant both +1 spell casting bonuses at each level to that 1 class?

Hi, I'm sure this had been answered somewhere, and if it has I just haven't found it.

Is it possible for a spell caster to injure themselves with one of their own spells? The rules don't say that a caster is immune to the effects of their own spell.

Example:

A wizard casts a fireball close enough to themselves where they are caught in the radius of the explosion, would they then also have to make the save, and take damage as with any other creature in the radius of the spell?

Thanks.

Do you have any intentions of adding a list of character traits that could be helpful for a witch?

I just started a witch, and I using Walter's Guide to the Magus suggestion of Magical Lineage on Burning hands. This allows me to take Elemental Spell & Rime Spell for only +1 spell level to burning hands. It gives me an option to help me get away from mobs who get too close in combat, while also dealing damage. The other option is to use Intensify spell, for +0 spell level to make it deal a maximum of 10d4 damage.
