finally got around to leveling inros and updating some gear

Inros tries to run through the streets, parallel to the figure running on the roof.
Inros pauses in his run to listen for the fleeing woman:
Inro puts away his bow and runs outside, looking for a way around to where the windows would be.
Inros gets his bow ready, looking side to side, nervous that something make come from outside the home.
Did we level? I will upgrade my character sheet with the new armor and anything i spend gold on in the next day or two. And if we did level, I will update that too.
"If the city needs us once again, I am ready to answer the call. Let's get this woman!"

I am interested in the +1 leathers, but if someone else wants that is cool. Other than that, I will just take my share of gold and equip myself from the wares of the town.
"I am gonna go check on my family to see how Tara is doing. Anyone want to meet up later for some dinner and ale?"

Inros jumps over to help Baern close the door.
Inros kneels next to Thelix and can see the venom coursing through his veins. He takes an arrow from his quiver and uses the point to cut across the vein to try to get the poison out of Thelix. Heal skill used to treat poison:
While Inros would be more comfortable with his bow, he decides he is better to just keep fighting and not take the time to change weapons. Once again, he swings at the spider but gets nothing but air:

looks like hitting preview and adding more rolls does not change the results. i had three max rolls in a row...that was weird and why i kept rolling..
this one i changed back and forth from d20 to d10. each time the d20 result was 20 and the d10 result was 6.
this one i rolled 1d20 and got a 9. then i added the +3 and the roll stayed the same for a result of 12. impressed. but still, a lot of max rolls...maybe i should not complain
Seeing red from his anger and his own blood, Inros swings at the spider that injured him twice now:

Init just in case: 1d20+3=20 Inros raises his sword, ready to attack anything that comes through that door.
Feeling frustrated by the new lack of action, Inros takes up position for the next door. "Third time's the charm?"
Inros takes a position behind Yselle, and figures in these tight quarters his sword is his better option.
"Baern, you were with the Guard, weren't ya? Did you ever know what this guy was up to?"

"Besides the spiders, what are going to do about Amprei? These criminals were supposed to be our link to find out what he is up to. And let's not leave this gold sitting around. I've put a good bit of what I have in the pot."
Inros reacts to the vicious attack on Baern by shooting at his attacker: precise and point blank shots (1d20+7=27) glad I switched targets ;) normal damage Favored enemy (1d8+2=10) confirm crit same bonuses as attack (1d20+7=19) extra damage if confirmed
Once again, Inros takes a shot at the big man fighting Theruska : Precise shot and point blank (1d20+7=13) damage favored enemy (1d8+2=5) "Maybe I need to find a better target!" Inros yells in frustration.
Inros' tries to shoot at the thug fighting Theruska, but in his excitement the shot goes wild. precise shot and point blank shot used again (1d20+7=9) unneeded damage roll, i am sure: human favored enemy bonus (1d8+2=10)
Init 1d20+3=11 Inros pulls out his bow and readies an action. He will shoot at Theruska's sparring partner as soon as they are a safer distance apart (not tied together or one of them prone with the other standing)
Inros puts 50 more gold down, of course for Theruska.
"I have the same worries as Sarastal, but I did see this man rooting for Thelix earlier. That is something in his favor. One of Devargo's thugs wouldn't do that."
Diplomacy 1d20+1=19 "We can keep playing your game, and you can keep losing money and men, or you can just tell us what we want."
Inros jumps excitedly as Thelix gets in a great move! He also takes this opportunity to look around for anything unusual:
Inros lays down 300 gold as half the entry fee and 50 of his own. He gives Thelix a confident nod.
Inros leans closer to Thelix "Looks like it's me or you. How about one of us takes the first round, then the other the second round?"
Inros is unsure if this man just loves to gamble, or is looking for an excuse to hurt us and not give up anything. Sense Motive 1d20+7=24 "For that kind of gold, and the risk of 'knivesies', I think we should get solid info, not just 'closer' to what we seek. I am sure a gambler like you understands we have to understand what we are playing for."
diplomacy to aid Sarastel: +2 synergy bonus for 5 ranks of sense motive (1d20+3=23) Inros does his best to stand straight and tall to look important and helpful. "As the lady says, we can provide you with something you need. We are a resourceful group."
Inros is distracted by all the interesting goings on, and realizes too late that someone is behind him, actually breathing down his neck. Nervous, he turns to see who is behind him, thinking that Beren would be too short.
"I think the bribery idea might work better, at least for now. Besides, I want to see what is inside too," Inros says with a red hue rising in his cheeks.
"I better get 40 arrows just to be safe." Inros sells his old bow for 35gp and pays 2 for the arrows, then admires the new masterwork bow from the goods the group found, a gleam in his eye. "I'm ready whenever everyone else is."
"From what Sarastal tells me, that fancy bow would be good for me." Inros also buys 20 arrows and sells his old bow. "What can I get for this old bow? I made it myself when I was younger." Inros browses the store's other wares...amazed at all the things a new adventurer could buy.
"Beren, you said you had a place we can sell some of this stuff?" And then whispers to the dwarf, "Cleric, what does Sarastal mean by 'any appetite'???"
I was wondering the same thing last night. Let me check it out. edit: OK, after checking d20srd.org, I remember what held me back on the bow...I was thinking I needed a STR bonus for any composite bow, and I only have STR of 10. But it looks like a composite bow without a strength bonus requirement would be good to go for me. same damage, slightly better range, and better attack since this one is masterwork. plus, is not consumed like the arrows. So Sarastal is right (thanks for the head's up!)...let's sell the arrows (unless someone else wants them) and I will use the bow.
now we can use him to test that blue potion...mwahahaha
Inros slaps Thelix on the back, proud of his companion's enthusiasm. "I'm in. I'm not ready for the excitement to stop yet." Inros also looks to Beren, thinking to himself that the cleric may be right about Abadar's role in the young man's life.
