Storm Burst (Sp): As a standard action, you can create a storm burst targeting any foe within 30 feet as a ranged touch attack. The storm burst deals 1d6 points of nonlethal damage + 1 point for every two cleric levels you possess. In addition, the target is buffeted by winds and rain, causing it to take a –2 penalty on attack rolls for 1 round. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.

Lightning Lord (Sp): At 8th level, you can call down a number of bolts of lightning per day equal to your cleric level. You can call down as many bolts as you want with a single standard action, but no creature can be the target of more than one bolt and no two targets can be more than 30 feet apart. This ability otherwise functions as call lightning.

Windwalker (Ex): At 2nd level, the penalties from natural or magical wind effects are treated as one step less severe for a storm druid. This ability replaces woodland stride.

Stormvoice (Ex): At 3rd level, a storm druid’s voice can magically carry over howling winds and peals of thunder. Whenever a Perception check is needed to hear the druid’s voice, the DC is reduced by an amount equal to the druid’s level. This ability replaces trackless step.

Eyes of the Storm (Ex): At 4th level, a storm druid can see through 10 feet of magical fog, mist, gas, wind, rain, or similar inclement weather conditions, ignoring any concealment it might grant. This distance increases by 5 feet for every 4 levels beyond 4th. This ability replaces resist nature’s lure.

Garbed in battered scale mail over mundane leathers, Bron's wide frame shows the strength the man has at his command. Gripped in his meaty hand is a heavy flail and a dagger hilt peeks out of the top of one of his hard-soled boots. His brown hair is unruly and his face, though plain, has a square jaw and low cheekbones, giving him a tough look that can be rather intimidating. Hanging from a cord at his hip is a simple wooden stein, for ease-of-access when he pays a visit to the Publican House and a wineskin hangs next to the stein, showing his interest in drink. Though Bron insists that his desire to drink is moderated by his adherence to the Drunken Hero's tenets.

Story/Background:

Many believe that barbarians can only be found wandering the hills and plains inhabited by the Shoanti people. Few stop to think that the tough brawler or the desperate thug has the necessary savagery to be considered barbaric. Bron Kellen possesses such a wild spirit. Of Chelaxian/Varisian mixed roots, Bron was raised on the tough streets of Lubbertown. There he was taught to defend himself by the lawless nature of this section of Riddleport. The son of a simple shoemaker, Bron, after many beatings by those bigger and stronger than him, began to develop a base fighting instinct derived from the desperate nature of his life. As the years progressed, he started beating the people who use to beat him, tapping into the desperation and anger that was instilled in him when he was a boy. Taking from those who would have taken from him, he collected items which would have been too expensive to buy were he to become his father's apprentice. However, his honest father was able to intill in his wild son a strange sense of honor. Bron refused to be like those who had attacked him in his youth, preferring to only attack those who attack him first and teaching others how to fend for themselves. As such, Bron gained a soft spot for the downtrodden of Riddleport, seeing what he could have become if he hadn't decided to fight back. Finally, growing tired of the almost savage nature of the inland district, Bron and his father moved to the River District. Though it was tamer than Lubbertown, the stench that flowed through the streets made Bron feel that his situation hadn't really improved. That all changed however when he came upon the Publican House.

Upon entering the House of the Drunken Hero, Bron was taken aback by the sights and smells within. Drawn to the almost reverent worship of ale, combined with the raucous nature of the hall, Bron began to devote his time to Cayden Cailean's worship. After many months of listening to the tipsied priests who lived in those halls, Bron walked away one day with a sense of purpose. Hearing talk of a gambling hall called the Gold Goblin and its owner, who was looking for help, Bron made his way to the establishment to see if there were positions for hire.

Personality:

Gruff and taciturn, Bron often intimidates those he meets without even trying. However, all who have gotten to know him know that he has a good heart and is willing to help those in need. Even with his wild personality, he has never killed anyone, preferring to end disputes with his fists rather than with his flail. However, he won't hesitate to bring his weapon to bear on those who are ready to draw blood.

Though tough looking, Bron is amiable and has a loud, boisterous laugh. He has many friends among the Publican House and has, on occasion, even helped to break up fights that have broken out. He is loyal to his friends and believes that one should always make their own path in life. However, his humor can be a little simple at times and he easily gets annoyed when others flaunt their wealth.
