Background:
A very distant cousin to Lander Lebeda, Inigo's family is located at the far southern edge of House Lebeda's holdings. At a young age, it was evident that Inigo lacked the skill and interest in the House's sword fighting traditions and family politics. Nevertheless, Inigo’s father often pushed his heir to live up to the traditions of his family's name. This meant drilling his son in the use of weapons that the skinny boy never seemed comfortable with using. Instead he took to the lessons and stories taught him by Handor Brince, his father’s seneschal. A skilled accountant and magician, Handor ultimately ended up mentoring the young Inigo, much to the chagrin of his father.

His family’s holdings far removed from Silverhall, Inigo thought the distance would insulate him from the politics of the region, allowing him to pursue his own dreams. That wasn’t what was expected of his him however. His father was a firm supporter of Dame Lebeda and would do anything she asked to further Lebeda ambitions. So when one of the Council members of the Swordlords announced he was seeking a suitor for his sole daughter, their family holding was ideally located to act. Receiving a missive form Silverhall, Inigo’s father set up a meeting between Inigo and the Swordlord’s daughter, Velina. A capable swordswoman in training herself, it was obvious that the two were very different. Even so, the two youths became fast friends.

A wedding was not to come of it however. Unable to keep up with the fit, dexterous and skilled Velina as they grew, Velina’s father decided that Inigo wasn’t worthy of his daughter. The union falling through, Inigo’s father was furious and from that day forward, Inigo’s father renounced the young, skilled magician as his heir. Having fallen out of favor for his family, Inigo had a growing need to prove himself worthy of the Lebeda name. So, with word spreading that the Swordlords of Restov were planning an expedition to retake the Stolen Lands, Inigo decided to leave his home. With some subtle maneuvering, Inigo was able to secure a chance to join one such charter and headed out to see what the Stolen Lands hold. If he is able to explore and tame the Stolen Lands, he could prove to himself that he was a Lebeda, regardless of what his father thought of his skill with a blade.

Description:
Thin and of average height, Inigo's frame suggests someone more capable at skimming through a book for some inconsistency or lost bit of lore than wielding a blade. With Taldan bronzed skin and brown hair, Inigo also holds to the sophistication and flair for fashion common to his people. Even when on the road, Inigo wears a comfortable grey shirt, dark blue breeches and black, calf-high boots of fine leather. An oversized coin can be seen spinning through Inigo’s hand, the emblem of House Lebeda embossed on one side and the seal of Brevoy on the other. When incanting his spells, he often mutters phrases that relate to caution, swift travels, and being properly prepared.

Personality:
Like most Lebedas, Inigo has a taste for the finer things in life. From creating a comfortable blanket out of thin air, magically cleaning soiled clothing, or pulling wine from extra-dimensional storage, Inigo has no qualms about bringing the finer things in life with him. At the same time, he has a firm respect for the law, for law brings order and order…stability. This stability is what helps smooth the flow of commerce. As such, he considers himself a faithful of Abadar and sees the spread of civilization and commerce as something that would benefit the world. He is also very prideful and can anger easily if his family name is insulted.
