born to a lowly commoner family and orphaned during the goblin wars in Isgard . Lexia found herself Living happily under the Asmodian orphanage for young women until the young aasimar found herself being kidnaped by a cult of daemon worshipers looking for a worthy sacrifice to their god. By good fortune or divine guidance a young Hell knight named Volgar Cyran stumbled on the group of cultist and rescued the child. unable or unwilling to stop his one man crusade against the forces of injustice he made the decision to drop the young Imperia off at a secluded monastery of Iomedae promising to visit when he could. At the temple she enjoyed a elevated amount of attention from her teachers, bringing resentment from the rest of the children living at the temple at the time.
During her adolescent years she began to mature into a young woman drawing yet more attention from the temple that she was being raised at but the surrounding town drawing a flux of worshippers to the temple. While the clergy saw this as a boon (and the money that was donated) Lexia found the constant requests of marriage proposals to be unwanted (leaving Volgar to fight off suitors every time he visited) she sensed the time to leave the temple was coming soon.
One day when sweeping the gardens awaiting her visit from her protector Volgar she was surprised to see a young man come with a note and a sad look on his face. As it turns out the man was in the same ill destined patrol as the hell knight and explained how the esteemed leader gave his life to protect the other members of the group from a raiding party of vile Andorens. Finding her nearest sponsor Lexia found that her narrow views and her racial heritage made her a poor choice for the rank in file of troops. Finding herself sent to the manor of paracountess Dralneen who found her dedication more than a boon for her operations.
