Young cat, but yes. It's a common virus that randomly mutates. She was between 8 & 10 months old. It was a sudden onset of the mutation and there really wasn't anything that could be done, due to how fast and aggressive it was.

Well, we tried treatment. She rallied on Saturday, but on Sunday, her body began being overwhelmed by the disease. I won't go into details or specifics (send me a message if you want that), but I took her Monday for a second opinion at a different vet. FIP was confirmed, and I was gently told that there truly was not much to be done. They could either stretch her out for a few days, or we could put her down today. So I did the tough decision and put her down. We had several of my friends and my dad there with me, which was a great help. I cried and am still crying on and off. It's going to be a truly tough day tomorrow. I'm going to try and post tomorrow, but if I'm needed before then, please bot me.

My friends, I may be scarce the next few days. My cat got diagnosed with a possibly fatal disease called Feline Infectious Peritonitis (or FIP). I...am struggling with this news, and the beginning of treatment for my youngest cat. I just need a few days to recover myself.

No, it's not an evil adventure path but there are evil people. Having played this one before, it's best not to try to hard in saving him, as you will be disappointed. Pirates don't take stealing lightly. Not at all, as you'll see. Heroics in the Shackles aren't easy, and sometimes the heroic route just isn't possible, no matter how hard you try.

Iggy smirks and rubs a bit of grit from his cheek. "That's like asking if I've seen the wind. I've seen what she's done and how she influences things, but I have a few more years yet to see her in person." He leans a bit closer. "Oh, I've got a few tricks up my sleeves. Nothing too flamboyant yet, but I will say this...I've taught more than a few that it is a bad, bad move to get on my bad side. It opens many doors." He laughs and extends a hand. "Ignatius Hank. And you're...Rosie, yes?"

Which roll did I double add my bonus on? Obviously no point really in trying to improve Sandara, since she's already good. I think I'll try improving Rosie's reaction to us with a bit of a over exaggeration of the tale of birth and crazy life. Trying to make it fairly believable. Influence Bluff: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17 "Oh, this thing? Had it since birth. Mum used to tell me that she'd prayed for someone to take over her ships once she got too old to stay on the waters, and Besmara blessed her with me, in exchange for me keeping the Queen's philosophy true in my heart. It tends to lead me into interesting places and meeting quite a wide range of folks. And of course, I will say that the rumors of those who bear this Mark...well, there's a reason why we are known as the right hand of the Banshee Queen." If it's believable, I'll assume that I get the believable bonus, of +5, which would bump it up to 22?

"I'll be sure to keep that in mind, Master Scourge" is the only response the worshipper of Besmara gives before he heads to his work. And work, the Caldaru man does. With almost supernatural grace and endurance, Iggy moves messages around the ship with little difficulty. Acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Trying to find someone appropriate to influence. Someone who seems interested in his appearance.

"Oh, I have certainly had my fair share of trials. My name is Ignatius Hank, son of Esmerelda Hank." He remains quiet after that, allowing the name to sink in. The name of one of the Shackles most notorious Free Captains and an accomplished priestess of the Pirate Queen followed him everywhere, and there was no reason to leave it out. "I am sure that I will accomplish the task to satisfaction." Is it possible to take 10 on the Intimidate on Scourge?

The big man remains quiet, nodding only once, as he heads over to Scourge, giving the tiefling a look that seems typically reserved for the town idiot, or the seagoing alternative. "Duties, sir?" the man says, remaining limited in the words spoken but keeping his eyes open.
Male Human Inquisitor 1 | HP 11/11 | Init +2 | AC 12 T 10 FF 12 | F +4 R +2 W +4
Iggy responds with the same tone, cursing internally over how slow he went up the ropes but truly glad he hadn't fallen and broken anything. "No, sir." He pulls back his hair, tying it tighter away from his face and showing clearly the mark of Besmara on his cheek.

Which is the greater evil is really semantics, in this case. The people of the Shackles aren't all weak willed things, and Devils are high on the "we don't like" list for most people in the area, due to their association with Cheliax. Secondly, I'm going to agree that the PCs can't really be forced into a particular reaction. Some PCs may view you negatively, some may not care (like Iggy), or some might like you. It's all a debatable situation, based on the way each person plays their character. So...back to the task at hand?

Climb: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
The brawny man doesn't take near as much time as the others, working his way up the ropes. He seems to be having a pretty simple time of it, for the most, but his foot twists through the rope near the top and gets hung. As he tries to free his foot, the remains of the poison in his system throw off his balance, and he hangs upside down for a moment. He still remains calm in his actions, righting himself and easily making it the last few feet. Pretty sure I did this right.

"Eh, we've been in worse situations than this." The tall man just shrugs. "They don't call the Banshee a 'Fickle B@*%*' without reason." He touches the Mark on his cheek for just a moment, as he looks over those around them.
Male Human Inquisitor 1 | HP 11/11 | Init +2 | AC 12 T 10 FF 12 | F +4 R +2 W +4
Such a number of loud mouths today... the tall man thinks to himself, as he smacks his lips together, trying to place the sort of taste in his mouth, not remembering anything necessarily sweet he had ordered the night previous. Such was the life of the Markborn, though. Those who bore the Mark of the Black Lady. Rubbing the skull and crossbones that shows on his cheek, he pushes the long hair back and knots it roughly out of his way, exposing the Mark to the light and to the view of all. As the young fiery red headed woman passes by them, he nods, making no attention to hide the Pirate Queen's Mark on his face. Once his eyes are fully adjusted to the light, he looks over to his fellows who have been pressganged. Iggy's eyes widen, as he notices Charlotte. "Why am I less than surprised that we would end up on a ship together again?..."

Ignatius rolls over onto his stomach, the swarthy Southern fellow groans low, swallowing the sour taste of last night's booze. Gozreh's angry white ass...what did I drink? Or what did I NOT drink... The gentle rocking motions though drags a much louder groan from the man's lips. Iggy pushes the damp hair that clings to his forehead and readjusts the stray strands beneath an old rugged red bandana wrapped around his forehead. Putting a hand to the rough wood, the familiarity of the waves giving him the motivation to rise to his feet. Squeezing his fist, he reaches to his belt, feeling much lighter over his midsection and... His eyes widen, as he looks to see the whelp and his flock of lackeys. At least the lackeys were more his measure. Rather than saying anything stupid, the large Caldaru in striped sailor shirt and leather breeches narrows his eyes at the man and heads to the bright deck above. Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
