I admit i have yet to really play 4th, other than the demo on free dnd day. I owe all the books and looked them over, don't really like what i see. Personally I feel you become more pigeon-holed in this version

What i don't get is why everyone says Barbarians are gonna be Defenders. It seems to me that with their high damage and low armor, Barbarians are better as strikers.

The question is whether or not they get Rage once per encounter or once per day.

At Will powers should be something like:

Intimidating Gaze: a psychic attack that leave them shaken

Quickstrike: extra damage and push

Whirlwind: Attack all adjacent creatures (I kinda like the idea of hitting ALL creatures, enemy or friendly.)

I'm tempted to play for a chance to work this out better, but i have 3 games going as we speak.

I LOVE the new barbarian rules!!!! They are AWESOME! The point based rage system is great. And the rage powers offer so much choose. Finally DnD is getting to be more about personal options. :-D

As stated in above post, I am playing a brb/Drd combo who I'm trying to convert to Pathfinder (instead of having to start from the beginning.)
I have the "Extra Rage" feat, from 3.5 which allows me to rage two extra times per day.

Obviously the new point based rage system doesn't need that so I am wondering what alternatives you might suggest. Perhaps a feat allowing extra rage points, maybe like 6-8 or even a feat that allows for an extra rage power?

Personally. I have never had a problem with my animal companion. I'm a brb/Drd mix, and took the natural Bond feat from Complete Adventurer, so basically I have a loyal mount i can ride into battle. :-D

I have played a beast master before, (also complete Adventurer) and i have to say having more than one animal companion can get really daunting and bog down game play, even if you have them all go at the same time, it gets boring after a while to have the rest of the team sit and wait while your six wolves all attack the goblin at once.

I'm currently running a Barbarian Druid in a pathfinder game. I love the combo, my only problem is why are there no spontaneous divine spell casters. I know that Clerics and Druids have heal and summon nature's Ally, but quite frankly I've NEVER cast nature's ally.
I think Druids, with there closeness to nature should be spontaneous casters, like sorcerers or Bards.
Plus, this would off set the fact that Cleric wouldn't seem to need there spontaneous rule anymore, according to the new Pathfinder Alpha.
