Thanks for running, this was a ton of fun! I'll grab my chronicle this evening.

Hudathan nods, stoic about the victory. "The mission was a success. We gained information, due to my partner's exceptional computing skills. We also found a way to identify this organization." He smiles at the others. "It should not be difficult to take them down, if their current defenses say anything about them."

Hudathan looks over the shoulders of the programmers. "Hmmmm... comment your code. That's important, I'm told."

Computers, Aid: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16

Hudathan just smiles, examining the charred remains of the guardians. "Ha! A good exercise after that disappointment of a spider."

Hudathan growls lightly under his breath as the rest of the team assaults the guard. I won't be outdone by a bunch of squishies! What would momma say?! He squints and fires a large laser blast at the thing's head. Even if it's already dead. He smiles. "Gotcha."

Hudathan grunts with pride at Moxie's callout. "Ha! Happy to carry your weak mass on my wide shoulders!" He lines up another shot over the desk, his vesk pride not affecting his aim. I ignore the first two points of cover.

Hudathan lets out a battle cry and runs around the two guardians. He laughs in their faces as he goes. "Ha! Inferior warriors to defend their inferior waiting room!" Let's see here... Red is probably flatfooted from Sovyal's attack. So Blue get's an AoO against me. My KAC for this is considered to be 23 thanks to Mobility.

Once around the corner, he turns in place and fires at the wounded guardian.

Hudathan looks around the room. "No piles of gold? Disappointing." He watches the more computer savvy folks get to work on the machine, offering bits of advice.

Hudathan grunts, shaking his head. Flame traps. So dishonourable. These people are as incompetant as they are cowardly. Their forefathers must be so ashamed. He watches the group working on the trap but can't make heads nor tails of it.

Engineering, Aid: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Hudathan shifts his weight from foot to foot during the countdown, award that his limited computing skill set would not be helpful in the crisis. Instead, he spends most of the time by the door keeping an eye out. Once the job is done, he nods. ”Aye, check the other rooms then run. Primary goal successful, let’s ensure we don’t miss anything. “ He clenches his lips and looks at the busted robot. ” We won’t get in here so easily next time. “

Heck, if we could find the cooling system we just remove it! That would work.

I'm also considering doing terrible things to the battery of the robot we just destroyed. That bad boy could overheat pretty well. Either way, this is a pretty large room. We'd need some serious environmental controls to heat the whole thing up.

Hudathan, about to start discharging his laser rifle into the air, stops and smiles at Chikasa's idea. "Ha! Much better than laser! Lasers are good for making holes, not for fires."

Hmmm...I would think the mechanic remote hack would override most situations where normal people can't hack remotely. Depends on the author wording, I suppose.

Hudathan looks up at Chik-Chik with a scowl. "Oye! Don't touch my.... ooh, now it hums..." His mouth turns into a grin as he turns to the robot with a murderous glare.

Reflex, DC 12: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

Just then, his gun nearly gets pulled out of his hands! "Noooo..." He growls and pulls up the weapon for a desperate shot! With a squint of his eye, he shoots around the intervening cover. I ignore the first two points of cover.

Hudathan marches forward, a big grin on his face. He slings his Corona laser around and into his other hand. The vesk looks at the robot, eyeing it up and down. "I hate spiders..." He sends a large blast of laser into the robot's chest.

Hudathan moves to the south side of the room, not noticing the new combatant. Hands busy, he gets to work on the electical tower. As he works, he whispers to himself. "Red means power... Black means ground... Red means power... Black means ground..."

Hudathan moves at the front of the group, his gun swaying from side to side. "Good visibility. If there are defenses, they have seen us. This will be a glorious battle." He nods in approval of the firing range the group is walking into.

Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 1

Hudathan knocks on the plinth with his knuckles, chuckling. "I say good choice. Strong." He smiles, obviously lacking in computer skills. He then moves forward to the doorway, laser cannon ready.

Hudathan grunts as he moves into the room. "Ha! No offense taken! My beautiful bride would look horrendous in a ball gown! Her natural beauty shines through a good set of vesk armor!" He turns to the older ysoki and winks. "She's got muscles in all the right places."

Then the vesk looks down at the power cables with a gleam in his eye. "Hey, you lot see what these go too?" He turns, looking for where the feed and what outlet

Hudathan, aware that he is more muscle than brain, helps others examine the switches.

Looking at these Perception DC's, I might need to purchase a Helper to see for me!!

Hudathan picks up the gloves and chuckles. "Polarity gauntlets? Hold nothing against these spikes." He tosses it back into the crate without a second thought. "Let's grab the gear and get moving. More competent guards may be on their way."

Hudathan frowns, staying quiet. He glowers at Moxie. A little tired? A LITTLE TIRED! Vesk are never tired. He begins pacing in circles, just to show how little fatigue he feels. How dare she insinuate that I, a vesk warrior, am tired! Despite his anger, he does feel better. Though he would never admit it.

Hudathan growls at the robots. "You dare take my armament? You forgot something..." He pulls out a pulsecaster rifle from where it was slung on his back. "A vesk is never unarmed." He grins and fires at the closest robot. Red

Well, shucks! I did think that seemed like rather high damage. Thanks for checking! I must have mistyped when I levelled up and bought it.

As long as we’re not stealthing, Hudathan is happy to be up front!

Hudathan moves to the wall, ducking around and firing his large cannon at the rightmost bot. ”FINALLY! No more sneakin’! “ He smirks as his enormous laser flies through the air.

Hudathan shakes his head as the arc flashes. "Ah... this is no vesk engineering. Good try. Now for the real fun." He pushes past the smoking door and begins down the staircase - laser out.

Hudathan grunts in appreciation at the fine work. I coulda done that. Probably. With a few tries. . He shakes off the self-irritation and catches up with the group. ”Alright, don’t dally. We can’t stay out here long.”. He looks around nervously.

Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 12

Hudathan smiles as the operative goes and does what he does best. Then his eyes grow wide as the ground lifts up several feet! A sigh of relief leaves him as he sees Hawthorne move under it. An Illusion... tricky. He waits to see how this turns out before approaching.

Hudathan watches Moxie transform, confused. ”An interesting idea, to be sure. In vesk culture, we honor our warriors, not shame them. I bear my face proud.”[/b. He lifts his chin, proud of his work. Besides, that must make it difficult to collect paychecks. Who do they write them to?. He examines the facility before the group moves in. [b]”Not very subtle, is it?”

Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 14

Hudathan sputters as Moxie confronts him. ”Uh, well, I, uh, I mean, I can kind of see. When there’s a little light... At night...”. He huffs and takes the goggles.”Only so I can better protect you lot! Harrumph.”. He smirks, confident that he totally recovered, and goes to the corner to fiddle with the goggles. ”Can’t put them on myself, of course I can put them on myself. I was a mechanic in the vesk navy! Until I flunked out...”

Sounds good to me! I was eyeing those, but this vesk is definitely too proud to have taken them on the first round.

Hudathan looks at the cloak and shakes his head. ”These will protect those of you who cannot protect yourselves.”. He then turns to the remaining pair of goggles and smirks. Some races cannot see in the dark. Silly.. I have low-light vision, which is hopefully enough for where we’re going.

No new purchases.

The vesk grunts. "Thank you. Any equipment would be helpful." He follows the steward to the stash. Weaklings like these need any help they can get. Help, like me. He cracks his fingers and smiles. "This lot is a crew of expert negotiators. You ever need more help, I recommend 'em. Good with people, they are." His eyes glitter, like this is a high compliment.

The vesk chuckles and puts his face up against the glass. "If they would blow up the asteroid we were on then I don't think this concrete box will stop them." He shakes his head. "This guy's toast."

Hudathan frowns as the stewards insist on taking his weapons. "Back on Vesk-3, the guards were strong enough to enforce the rules. Didn't need to confiscate the weapons." He drops a large artillery laser, a rifle, a cannon, a taclash and an antique longsword on the table. As he steps away he lifts up both hands, revealing the large claws attached. "Besides, you forgot one important thing. A vesk is never unarmed." He grins, toothily.

After seeing the situation, he shakes his head and follows Hawthorne into the observation room. "Let us know if you need any lasers in there. Huh. ha huh." He smiles, lazily.

Hudathan smiles at Sovyal’s comment. ’Aye,you’ll be needing rescuing again, no doubt.”. He chuckles, good-natured. He turns to the venture captain after reviewing the notes. ”What are the laws like in this sector of Verces? Last time I was on planet, that particular sector was... chaotic.” He grimaces, obviously disliking the planet.

An extremely large vesk, bristling with heavy weaponry, walks in. He gives a knowing nod to Sovyal then turns to the venture captain. At the end of the briefing he just grunts. "Aye. We'll talk to him. But Verces is the kind of place where a gun speaks louder than words. I'm sure we'll be fine." He smiles smugly, full of typical vesk confidence. Before turning his attention to his weapons he asks another question in a grumbling voice. "Will we be given starfinder transportation to verces or shall we find our own way?"

Hudathan steps out into the hallway, spitting in the orc’s direction as he goes. ”Meat for brains! “ He turns into the next aisle, ducking behind a box and taking aim at the drow in charge. With a carefully aimed shot he sends a blast of laser towards the drow!

Hudathan takes a small step forwards, looking around the corner into the adjacent aisleway. ”Go home, thief.” He fires a single shot of hot plasma at the drow.

Hudathan heats the elevator doors open and sprints across an aisle way. He turns, watching the aisle and waiting for another orc to appear. Readying to shoot the first enemy to appear.

Hudathan moves down the row and inspects the two ashy piles left by his weapon. Hmmm... terrible aim. Perhaps that can be corrected with a bipod. Yes, a bipod... The vesk moves up to the robot and pauses before hitting the button. "Uh... Maybe somebody better with robots should go first." He steps back and takes watch.

Hudathan laughs as the half-orc comes around the corner. "Like fish in a barrel." Overcome with cockiness, he fires the large energy cannon twice in a row.
