"I am wondering what the Omega Vault wants from us. The Dark Angels love their secrets, but that does not mean that those secrets are not important. Unless it affects us, the Rogue Trader's secrets are his to keep. After we collect what we are going to use on the mission, Let us get food and drink before preparing for our task. Unless you have other orders, Brother Leader Caledonii."

"Aye, I am of your mind, Brother Quintus---at least where it comes to the need to partake in food and drink---wandering the hallways of a place where time has no meaning, and traveling at the Vault's whim thousands of light years across the Reach through the Warp does something indeed to whet your thirst!"

While I believe our resident Son of Russ would be the most experienced to pass the trials of initiation on this world. We also need someone who has been tempered by time and has learned tact. I recommend Brother Caledonii as our mission lead."

The Space Wolf lets out a contemptuous snort at the Dark Angel's compliment and casually delivered backhanded criticism, and seems to be on the verge of boasting or arguing the point when a frown of low cunning comes over his young features, realizing that such a display is just the reaction that would prove Brother Vex's point.

Instead, he makes an almost excruciatingly restrained effort to steeple his hands before him, his retort delivered in a somewhat exaggeratedly pompous approximation of what he believes his Dark Angel rival's tone to be,

"I must agree with Brother-Librarian Vex. He is much too wise and scholarly to influence the minds of these noble warriors effectively; it should be one who possesses valor, strength of arms, and the deference and respect that only many years of experience can bring. I, too, nominate Brother Caledonii to lead us on Aurum."

The young Wolf surveys the table confidently, naively expecting his fellow Kill-team members to be visibly impressed with his 'tactful' and conciliatory gesture. His sulking frown is an impressive one when he realizes it is not to be.

Brother Hrothgar, again showing his relative youth when compared to the other Battle-Brothers, snorts derisively at the thought of allowing the Inquisition's secret intrigues to interfere with rendering aid to the rogue trader, or more importantly one of their own.

"Although I may not agree with the needlessly roundabout way that the Dark Angel came to his decision to render aid, I agree it must be given. It is our duty. There are but a few Space Wolves seconded in the Reach, and I suspect I may have an inkling that one of my own chapter serves the rogue trader upon this 'golden' world. Admittedly, I have garnered these rumors from the Fellhand while he was deep in his cups, but his words are usually true in such matters---when he can hold his drink, that is."

"Whatever our other duties on Aurum may be, we should offer our aid, if only for the sake of what the Vault's portents have shown us thus far. It is no accident that we are here. Are we at least in agreement on this?"

The Space Wolf stalks up to the structure with a look of bafflement on his face, clearly perplexed as to why the others are so reticent to take any action.

"Is it not clear, my brothers? These here are sacred relics of the Deathwatch, our path has been guided here so that we might claim them as our own for the struggle to come. Why do you hesitate?"

The impetuous Space Wolf has an eager gleam in his eye as he looks upon the aureate blades, as if he is only restraining the urge to reach out and touch one of the hilts out of deference for his brethren and their more conservative approach.
