Hanako arrives to the Queen's summons wearing her regular outfit; a rather typical wizard's hat and traveling robes, darkly colored and inscribed on the inside with an emergency spell. This is less a deliberate choice and more so owing to the fact that she hasn't bothered with the ownership of any other outfits. She simply cleans it with magic when needed, resulting in an appearance that while perhaps somewhat under-dressed for a royal audience is nonetheless suitably groomed.

In that same vein she has also arrived in her natural form, and has actually taken time to keep her red-accented white fur properly maintained. The wonders of magic allowing such an act to be completed with relative ease and on short notice.

Inside, she chooses to stand slightly apart, so as to not accidentally brush her tails up against anyone. Tails which sway seemingly of their own will as Hanako listens to the Queen's request.

"Oh yes, you can certainly count on me, Your Majesty. I am quite pleased to have received this royal request, as the matter is of interest to me. Not to say I have done anything quite like my own investigation, but it is certainly a noteworthy and likely magical phenomenon, and as such it has of course piqued my interest." She declares, adjusting a pair of spectacles atop her snout.

"And if I might add, I prefer forbidden magical knowledge as compensation, although in the event that such a request is... as one might say, excessive, then regular magical knowledge will do. Tomes, scrolls, rituals and the like. I would be delighted to receive such rewards regardless of their nature!" At this, her tails visibly pick up in intensity, and it seems to take a few moments for Hanako to notice they've done so, at which point she calms them down so as to appear slightly more professional.

Okay, hashed out the background. It's more or less the same as already stated without too much more added. As stated, booted from a magic academy and wandered around a bit. I decided she'd been trying to squeeze some magical teachings out of The Acadamae as opposed to having studied there in the end, but she's been in Corvosa a couple of years.

In that sense it's likely she's heard about Jinu as well, if only from someone asking if they knew each other; she flits between Kitsune and Human forms like picking out a different shirt for the week, so she's not always walking around with her tails on display.

Oh right, I should mention that I'm going by the 'tails equal to Rank of spell you can cast' nine-tailed inheritor type deal. She has her own fluffy cushion attached to her back.

I think I got the header working now, nice. Can have finalized backstory information sometime tomorrow. I believe the hook involves getting a royal summons, but that might've been a personal GM choice. I believe I mentioned playing like, a few scenes of this before it dropped. I know the AP description mentions ghost sightings and a need for heroes.

Rough backstory outline is Hanako coming from a prestigious magical background, receiving formal education at some magical university, then getting booted for sneaking into forbidden archives too often, followed by a life as a wandering wizard looking to gain access to rare libraries and doing odd jobs for the chance at a new tidbit of magical knowledge. That in mind I don't think she'd be from Korvosa, but perhaps would have been there for some time for one of those odd jobs. Depends on the information we get regarding background. Do we know anything besides what I mentioned?

Okay I got the profile up, I assume all of the stats like HP and such you just fill into the race/class field and update as desired? I used a normal alias and not a PFS slot if that matters.

Since we got a social master I'll be staying wizard. Not exactly a blaster, but I do have chain lightning because that's just fun. More debuff like fear/slow and a few dispels in case. And of course RK as often as I can. I haven't outfitted any equipment yet since I don't know what we have in terms of wealth allotment but I'm hoping for the opportunity to have a few utility scrolls for 'just in case' spells.

Also spell substitution to swap out more niche spells in that same vein. Course I only have the base amount of spells learned so I always feel like I wanna learn just a couple more niche spells each level.
