Impossible Escape (Su)

At 8th level, as an immediate action, an escapologist can attempt an Escape Artist check at a –10 penalty and apply the result in place of either a failed Reflex save or her AC against an attack that would have hit her. If she succeeds, her contortions let her avoid the attack or effect entirely. Using this ability leaves the escapologist staggered until the end of her next turn. If the escapologist can’t become staggered, she can’t use impossible escape.

This ability replaces improved uncanny dodge.

The way I interpret this is that the rogue can dodge a single attack by applying their escape artist with a -10 penalty.

The question is:

If the rogue is to be hit twice by a BAB attack aka at +15/+12 for example and both hit, is only one missed since the rogue would be staggered after the first attack? When in the stack order does the staggering happen? Is it immediate or is it delayed until the end of the attacks?

If you are already staggered, you cannot be staggered again?

RAW is not clear on this but common sense says "If the escapologist can’t become staggered, she can’t use impossible escape." indicates that the Escapologist cannot use the ability twice in a single turn and then must wait 1 full round until using it again?
