Male Human

Here is an update: it seems my issue is a more underlying one that the move simply agrivated. I have been bedridden and have a storm of doctor appointments this upcoming week. I should know more then, but right now I think I have to declare a hiatus. I do t want people waiting on me, and my ability to regularly post will be affected while I am still medicated. I hope Hitomi survives the outbreak, but if his death is needed to move things forward please don't hesitate.

Again my apologies. This has so much promos!

Male Human

Sorry for my absence. In the idle of a move and threw my back out. The mess the have me on are kinda distracting. I should be back in it in the next few days. Really sorry and just wanted to let you know I was still here

Male Human

Hitomi puts the boxes down dutifully and continues his search for a weapon 16 perception.

Male Human

At Quinn's suggestion, Hitomi looks about him quickly for something that might be used to defend himself and his friends. Quinn seemed to know what was going on. He trusted her.

perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16

Hitomi looks for a Fire Axe, Baseball bat or some other two handed implement as he also looms for a spot to put the boxes down. "Should I put these down?" Hitomi had gotten used to the move-hide-move aspect of the last while and he knew that if he put the boxes down he would not be able to bring them with him if they had to run.

Male Human

Hitomi continues to follow the group studiously. His grip on the boxes never seeming to waver.

stealth: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11

Male Human

"Chemistry.". Hitomi says between breaths. "It is fun but hard. I like the fun parts..." He goes silent for a few seconds in thought. "But the hard parts are hard. I don't like those parts. Will that girl be alright?" His switch of topic was rather abrupt and out of nowhere. The impression is given that he is talking about the zombie he tried to billfish in the locker room.

Male Human

Hitomi remains studiously still and quiet as Mathew gets the required gear from the cases.

Inside the boys' locker room, Quinn whispers: "...Hitomi, do you mind carrying what we find? These items that used to belong to people aren't needed by their original owners anymore, so it's fine if we take them. It's not stealing. They'd want us to have them."

Hitomis head will bob in affirmation as Quinn asks him to keep carrying things. He was good at this. So far. Oh he hoped he didn't trip. "I can carry things. But what about..." He drifts off in thought, trying to put everything in its place. "I have study hall next period. I need to study for a test. I have been studying but it is hard." his eyes seemed less caked on a spot of blood as he talks.

He will continue with the group silently, patently deep not thought on the days events so far.

stealth: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16

Male Human

Really sorry peoples. Life cought up on me this past week. I should be all read up and replying this evening or in the morning at the latest. I'm sorry and I'll do my best not to lag behind again.

Lol @ Hitomi asking the zombie if they need to go to the nurse's office.

:) gotta find the small humors in life. And in zombie apocalypses. Apocalypsie ?

Male Human

"I'm sorry." Hitomi says to the immobile zombie on the ground. "But you shouldn't be fighting. Do you want help to the nurses office?". Hitomi readjusts the boxes in his hand, listening for a second to hear if anything inside is sitting or moving differently after his charge

Male Human

Hitomi continues to hear the scuffle and looks around the corner. It seemed like a student was fighting with his new friends. You weren't supposed to fight. It was against school regulations. Not to mention it wasn't nice. He will look at the gear he is carrying then at the zombie. "Fighting is not allowed. Talking and.. and-" He was beginning to get flustered. So many things were happening different today. It looked like Dom needed s Me help. But he was told the boxes were fragile. Hitomi didn't think putting them down would be a good idea. He remembered what happened the last time he saw a fight happen on campus. He had seen an upperclassman picking on a younger student. He broke up the fight and the teachers thanked him. Maybe he should try the same thing here... maybe if he seperated the one who seems angry.... the boxes looked like they might hold a little bumping...

"Fighting is not allowed!" Hitomi will declare and rush forward, trying to step between Dom and the zombie.

Turn 3:
Hitomi is effectively attempting an Over run maneuver. I don't know the penalties or bonuses for using the boxes. The zombie will eat an AOO if it hasn't used it yet. Ten it can step out of the way if it want/is smart enough to.

overrun: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Male Human

"What is happening? Do you need help?" Hitomi tries to look around the corner while holding the boxes then stopped. They were fragile. He frowns. Indecision if clear across his face.

Hitomi effectively readies an exactions in case a zombie charges him. Beyond that he is tryi to keep the boxes safe

1 person marked this as a favorite.
Male Human

initiative: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15

Hitomi keeps his hold firm on the boxes. He wonders what is for lunch today. Hitomi wished the school had more curry days. He likes curry.

He hears the banging caused by Doms scuffle and turns his head that way. "You hear that?" he says to no one in particular.

Male Human

Hitomi shifts his load slightly but doesn't make a sound. He takes a few glances around, with a small embarrassed sheen to his eyes. He was not supposed to be here. But the whole group was going in. Not just the girls. Hitomi knew something unique was happening, but just what, was taking a little longer to sink in. So far the had only followed part of the emergency reaction plan. He had seen other students outside, but they weren't standing in line like they should. Emergency services should have shown up. But Hitomi didn't see any smoke indicating a fire. There was no earthquake, he would have felt it.

Giving his head a quick shake, Hitomi will ignore the few pieces of female undergarments he might see in the mess and focus on what he needs to do now: carry this stuff for the group. He could do that. He was strong. He could help. He would help. "I can carry more. " He will offer to the air above the boxes in his arms.

Male Human

Hitomi continues to follow in line nice and quiet like. His stealth didn't really stem from skill, but more his intense concentration in not dropping the stack of boxes he is carrying. A strained look of concentration distorts his face. Albeit his concentration, the actual whether of his load seems to hamper the large student very little.

As the group stops outside the locker room, he will take half a step to for and bump whomever is in front of him. "Sorry." he will mumble.

Male Human

There ya go. Sorry about that. Wanted to be more reactionary with Hitomi at this juncture than proactive. Would prolly bring the whole horde down on the group.

Male Human

Hitomi watches everyone fall out in order. He knows about this. You need to be orderly amiable duirkng an emergency. Hitmi was beginning to think this was an emergency. The school was much dirtier than usual. And a number of the staff and students seemed to have already left the building. He will follow the group- not waiting to be Last in line but not stepping into formation between anyone either.

Stealth: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20

Hitomi remains relatively quiet but it becomes apparent he also isn't actively trying to be sneaky- he doesn't really know how- he is however normally a quiet individual so staying so is not a huge issue for the senior.

Male Human

I am sure Hitomi can carry almost everything the group has. I am not currently worried about heavy or medium loads.

Male Human

Hitomi continues to appear ambivalent to what is happening around him. Every few seconds a word escapes his lips, too faint for others to hear.

Matthew G. Smith wrote:

Matthew pulls out two large box like containers. He puts them before Hitomi and says, "I will let you carry these, it does not matter if they get dropped or even used as weapons. The boxes were built to take a beating. If you don't want to get into direct fighting please take a duffel bag, we have two, or the lunchbox there but do not drop them. Lots of stuff would break."

Tanaka looks at the two boxes passively. He then looks up to Mathew and then back down to the boxes. "I can carry more." He looks at the duffels. "I am strong. I do not even work out.". Hitomi will move to shoulder both duffels before picking up the boxes with a soft grunt. "Do not worry. I will not drop anything. I can be careful."

..."Hello Hitomi. I am Electra. I know this feels... awkward, but you have to stay silent. Like a mouse. Can you do that for me?"

Hitomi focuses his gaze on Electra and nods. "Hello Electra-san . I am Hitomi Tanaka. It is a pleasure to meet you." Tanaka pauses for a moment then a smile slowly forms on his face. It appears that he is working through a script on his own. "I have seen you before. You are a student. Its is currently class time. Is this your work-study?"

Quinn Crowe wrote:

Quinn double checks to make sure the door to the clinic is closed and locked before approaching Matthew who is looking over the injured.

The bow in her hand reminds Quinn of another person who had entered the clinic. She turns to the strange student (Hitomi Tanaka) who carried Dominique, whispering: ”You’re pretty strong and brave to carry the injured here. Good job.” Quinn praises Hitomi awkwardly. She's still a little annoyed by his earlier statement about the sports equipment but doesn't want to upset him in case he starts making a commotion again.

Hitomi nods slowly at Quinn's statement. "Thank you. I am told I am strong a lot. I don't work out in the gym." He pauses to look at the bow uncertainly. "I have always been strong. Why are so many students not in class?" The words come out slow, Hitomi takes the time to form each one before speaking. He seems uncertain, and his eyes keep darting to the floor in front of him.

He doesn't move or react when the teacher rises- he seems to be mumbling something over and over again. Under his breath while focusing on the ground in front of his shoes.

Male Human

Sorry for not posting today. Busy weekend. I'll have a post up in the morning.

Male Human

Hitomi walks into the medical room with Dom on his back. "I have a fellow student in need of immediate aide!" Hitomi announces clearly and loudly. His lips continue to move as he repeats the instructions in aiding a student to himself. He will look for an open bed, and if there is one he will gently lower Dominique into it.

Turning to Quinn, Hitomis slow eyes lock on the bow and arrow. "sports equipment must be properly stowed unless you are within the gymnasium or accompanying fields." Hitomi recites the schools regulation with a flat voice. He will take the time recognize how many peop,e are here before continuing his list of instructions. [/b]"if the medical wing is too busy, call the local hospital for assistance."[\b] Hitomi will look around for a nurse and a phone.

Male Human

Hitomi will remain motionless for a long moment but before any can directly tell him to help, the large student nods. "Help others if they are in need of help. We are all in this together." You swear the line was from a PSA the school had encase of a natural disaster. Hitomi will leave his desk- and his belongings, and move to pick up Dom.

Pick up Dominique(STR): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

Male Human

That is a very valid stance to take. Know that I built this character to play in a zombie game, and I will not be using his condition for anything other than explaingig away his horrible roll for stats. I got the inspiration for Hitomi from The Accountant. Enough training and contingency plans, and even someone who 'normal' people give up on can become exceptional. I also don't want to ruin anyone else's gaming experience. He should be difficult for other characters, but fairly entertaining for other players. At least that is my hope.

Male Human

He is a big cuddle bug when you get to know him. And once he figures out how to operate in this new world he will prove a rather valuable meat shield. I am trying to focus on his inability to communicate properly rather than portray him as actually intellectually challenged. This why I chose to dump CHA instead of INT.

Male Human

Hitomi blinks slowly at dominiques question, but waits quietly while Maki responds. "If you are hurt you must make your way immediately to the nurses station. They will call someone who can come and help." He says to himself quietly. He will finally focus his gaze on Dominique. "and extra uniform is always a wise thing to have. If you forgot one, you should buy one at the store, or check the laundry. Wash is done Monday wednesdays and fridays. No wash on the weekends. Got to keep clean on the weekends. "

Hitomi will stand and raise his hand. "Sensei a student is hurt. Permission to escort him to the nurses office? I need a hall pass.." the last part is said to no one in particular. Hitomis gaze seemed to glaze right over the carnage, and he didn't even seem to register that Sensei Was in no condition to give any kind of permission.

Male Human

Hitomis day had so far been a complete mess. First, he was almost late to class. Being late was not something he liked. Everyone looked at you when you entered the room if you were late. Then the teacher was late. That was just as bad as being late yourself. If the teacher was late he couldn't get through his lesson and then Hitomi would have to study harder to not fall behind when test time came.
Then things started to get chaotic. The lady in the office said some things over the loudspeaker and the teacher stopped his lesson. Hitomi looked at the clock- the period hadn't ended. Other students started talking. You weren't supposed to do that during class time. Then some of the students stood up. The teacher didn't scold them.
Hitomi Tanaka removed his planner from his bag and checked the date, just to make sure there were normal classes scheduled today. There were. Ther edgudents kept moving and talking. A few stars red dragging furniture around, others started crying while even others began fighting. This was not what was meant to happen right now.
Hitomi made a decision. Even if the others were not going to learn, he would. He reopened his notebook and text book and began reviewing the current chapter. There we bangs st the door and Hitomis classmates got louder. Hitomi did his best to ignore the troublemakers and focus on his text book.
Hitomi was vaguely aware of the classroom door opening and a number of screams. Class hadn't ended however and he needed to study. Some time passed. Hitomi looked up to an empty classroom. No, it seemed like a few of his classmates were sleeping on the floor. Was that red paint? He looked at the clock. His next class would be starting soon. But everyone was gone. Hitomi was at a loss, so he fell back onto routine. Routine was good. He looked back down at his notes and began copying them once again.
Some time passed.

Kimura Maki wrote:

Maki follows Dominique into the classroom and sees Hitomi. "Are you okay?" she asks after looking around the room, and at him for any bite-like injuries. "You're just sitting there."

She will look around for something she can tear up to help the other survivors bandage up their injuries.

Hitomi will look up at the voice. He will look slightly confused and releived. "You are not in my class.." He will look back down at his notes and the signs of struggle nearby. "today is not a short day. You need to stay in your seat until the bell rings. " Hitomi says more to himself then Maki before focusing past her and into Dominique, frowning softly. "school regulations require a clean and tidy uniform. Always keep and extra available in case you spill something. " Again, Hitomis voice was more directed inwards, repeating his own list of rules than actually responding to the two students.

Big apologies to everyone. I'm sorry for not posting when ready. I had a puppy die on Tuesday and have been rather busy. I will do get posting today and not keep slacking. Sorry again.

Male Human

I would have been collected by my minder given the chance and stuffed somewhere they thought was safe- medical ward maybe or back in his room. If it happened too fast, he would have probably stayed in his seat for the beginning of it- that is what you are supposed to do after the bell rang.

Male Human

With dms aproval, I am poking my head in here and officially saying 'hi'!

Hitomi-Sans day starts the same everyday- standard routine is good for him. He probably lives on campus and has a minder attached to the schools medical staffs. He would have a breakfast arranged by his minder and delivered to his room. After showering, dressing and then eating, Hitomi-San would then head for his home room class, alone. After so long here, he has learned to be fairly autonomous. witu all he learned he has been rather quiet this year- the big quiet guy in the back of the room that gets special treatment.

By the way... DO NOT google your character's name. :p

HAh. That's what happens when you don't name check an idea.
