Liberty's Edge

Just moving to Star Valley, and wondering if anyone at all plays PF there.

Liberty's Edge

I know that this has been done to death more than once, but my question is the opposite of most of the rest.

Is it logical that a creature several sizes larger really has an easy time grappling the smaller creature?

In RAW, it would appear that an average human grappling a house fly is as easy as hitting the broad side of a barn with a rock at point blank range.

Really?!?

By any reasonable definition of the house fly's stats, it has a CMD of about 0.

edited to add: In the earlier editions of the game, it was necessary to hit with a touch attack as a precursor to a grapple. Can we get an official ruling?

The spell Breath of Life brings a question:

It claims to be able to revive the newly dead, but the mechanic says: "If the healed creature’s hit point total is at a negative amount less than its Constitution score, it comes back to life and stabilizes at its new hit point total. If the creature’s hit point total is at a negative amount equal to or greater than its Constitution score, the creature remains dead." But the definition of dead IS having a negative amount equal to or greater than you CON score. So, in order for this spell to bring someone back to life, he can't be dead yet.

So, does this spell truly raise the dead, making the above mechanic wrong, or does it only act as a cure spell, making the claim of a difference wrong?

Or something else?

I like the idea of 3 different tracks, but having the fast track still be slower than 3.5 is a little irksome. I think the fast track should be a bit faster than 3.5, and what is now the fast track should be the medium track, and medium track should be slow. Drop the slowest track, or just have it be a 4th option.
