Snap Shot and Improved Snap Shot might be good ideas, especially with the Twin Shot Knockdown you get at 11th level.

Also, Clustered Shots is good, to get past DR.

Aside from that, Extra Grit never hurts, nor does Improved Critical to get more grit back from critical hits.

For your firearm, Distance is one of the first enchantments you look at.

there is the inquisitor spell unwilling shield, get another player to use scrolls of this to cast on you. The attacker will take half the damage they do to you, and you only take half. That should be an eye opener the next time they attack.

I took a look at that, and although it would be hilarious, I would need to pick up enough Use Magic Device to use the scroll myself. The spell seems to be one that works on the caster and his opponent, as opposed to someone the caster chooses and an opponent.

I'm just gonna remember that spell for later, though.

I would get moderate fortification enhancement on ur fullplate over the cloak for now.. Resistance Cloak is almost a muct for a fighter due to already low saves..

I'm not getting rid of the Cloak of Resistance. My party can improve my cloak for me, and add a Displacement Minor effect for 18000gp. They can't enchant the armor until level 13, so I'd have to spend 27000 on that right now. At level 13, that will change, but for now, the Cloak is simply a cheaper option, and it will completely negate sneak attacks unless my opponent uses True Seeing.

Thanks, everyone. This has been helpful. My next purchase may have to be a Minor Cloak of Displacement.

I'm playing a level 10 fighter, a pretty vanilla 2 handed build. My group has recently had some trouble with a ninja, and I feel that for both reasons of revenge, and to prevent future trouble, I'd like to focus more on fighting rogues and ninjas. So far, my main obstacle seems to be losing the initiative and taking a ton of sneak attack damage in round 1. Can anyone recommend some feats or equipment to level the playing field?
