I have played I think 4 games, all play by post.

What kind of character are you looking to play? State the Novice & Expert Paths you are considering. We will be starting at Level 4 in this game, and only humans & orcs are the allowed species for player characters. (Elves, Dwarves, CLockworks & Halflings etc do not exist.)

What are the personality & morality of your character? This does not have to be overly long, just a few sentences. Note that characters in SoTDL are typically not pure and good people. Many care only for survival and personal gain, be that at the expense of others or not. Others are cold blooded killers, seeking solely to advance their lot in life. A rare few may very well be heroic and selfless. Most though fall somewhere in between these extremes. Whatever the case for your character however, all PCs in the game are expected to work together, even if grudgingly.

A short writing sample is required so I can see your writing skills. Please write it from the POV of the character you wish to play as. The sample must be in the preferred format for this game (i.e. 3rd person past tense) and should be two paragraphs max. (you may go longer if you wish but it is not required)
The Shadow of the Demon Lord can be a harsh system, and Urth is a brutal world. Your character may very well die during this adventure, especially since I intend to let the dice fall where they may, and you will encounter situations that may be too much for the group to handle head on, or at all. Are you ok with this? (Note that in case of character death you are free to rejoin as a new character as and when the story permits)
