But I think we can all agree that every adventuring class has better abilities than the commoner class. Just look at the abilities each of the adventuring classes gets at 1st-level compared to the commoner getting nothing.

Well, we could discuss Cleric heavy armor proficiency...You know, they should have nerfed the Fighter. He should have to pick Light, Medium, OR Heavy Armor Proficiency. Having all of them at once is overpowered and breaks versimilatude. Preach on, brother!

Yeah, we need to get it back on topic. So, about the Cleric heavy armor proficiency ... LOL. Although I actually was wondering if any of the archetypes/sub-domains/what-have-you changed armor proficiencies. Heavily-armored clerics. Lightly-armored fighters. That sort of thing.
I'd like to play a Cleric without Heavy Armor Proficiency ! Oh ... wait. Bah. Who'd want to play that?

These threads are getting old. I don't know what you're talking about. And on an entirely unrelated note... Where's my heavy armor proficiency? And why hasn't the oracle been renamed yet? Do you agree that the alignment system sucks? Also, there's this one particular mechanic that doesn't work. So let's all just sit down and discuss my house rule alternative to Vancian spellcasting.

This is the sort of thing that feels like someone is actively trying to _not_ understand the concept. I don't know what you're talking about. Also, I don't know what it means when the armor proficiency section of the cleric class doesn't mention heavy armor. Am I not proficient with heavy armor because it isn't mentioned? Or am I proficient with heavy armor because it doesn't say that I'm not proficient? These armor proficiency concepts are so hard to understand.
I will not rest until "oracle" is changed to "less-heavily-armored cleric".

Clerics are the only class to have anything removed. Not just tweaked. Not just altered. But actually removed. And we're not even wearing anything under this heavy armor. Have they no shame.
