Back from my work trip from last week now (which I apparently didn't post about in all my games). I may yet have spotty posting through the end of this month, but will have access to my computer now and not be in a different state without it. Definitely understandable on the baby end of things. A look of shock appears on Haru's face for a moment before he regains his composure. "It appears I owe you an apology. I did not realize you could speak or understand my words. Or even possessed such an intelligence. The wonders we see in this world. To have gained such an injury, was it in battle?" Diplomacy: 1d20 ⇒ 4 Sense Motive: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

Close-Opens are horrible things. Haru feels compelled to stare at the skeletons for a moment, feeling anger well up inside him. "That's no way to treat one's ancestors." Stepping down to the manticore, he watches as Davreena examines the creature at a distance. "Your concern for the creature is noble. If I had a limb chopped off and forced to live in a cage, I doubt I would have a good temperment. Though if the creature preyed upon innocents, I would feel less sorrow for it's situation. I wonder what it eats?" Haru will take a look around for any signs, curious. Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

As the man offers to Haru, he starts with a glare before suddenly chuckling to himself. "I suppose this sounds interesting. King of the Carnival? Let's see how well I can do. I'll catch up to you all in a moment." Haru takes up the offered mallet, testing it's weight before bringing it down. Assume a strength check? Strength: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

"I fail to see what we could possibly desire here." Haru looks around the carnival with a grim look on his face before letting out a sigh. "But if we must, we must. Let's see what our fortunes have for us." Is the map up then, or just listing locations?

Having stood when Sheila and her guest entered the room, Haru made sure not to stare at the sight of the gorilla following despite his curiosity. As she asks for introductions he offers a bow as he speaks. "Well met, Venture Captain Heidmarch. I am Pathfinder Haru. And I too am eager to prove myself."

Didn't realize the discussion thread had been up! Haru is an explorer trying to find his place in the world. His nature a mix of his mother's discipline and his father's wild abandon, he doesn't feel at home amongst either of his parent's people and has joined the Pathfinder Society of learn more of the world. Statswise Haru is a 1st level Brawler from the ACG Playtest. It'll be interesting to see how this class plays. Also, Matsu, since it seems I chose the same portrait as you, I'll go ahead and change it today so it's not confusing. |
