Greetings! I have a copy of the ROTRL 1E and wondered if I would be able to trade it in for a 2E version. I would really rather not have to go through the entire book and convert everything over, or purchase the 2E. I know it probably sounds like a ludicrous question and I know I will catch flak but I still wanted to ask.

That's honestly very frustrating. Doubly so when people who ordered through local stores will have their books on time (or before release in some cases...).

I was looking forward to getting my books all week. Hopefully they will at least be here before my group has our first session scheduled.

Agreed. In a launch this big there are definitely some logistics to consider and when using a third party (like Amazon) you are ultimately at their mercy. According to someone on twitter, they ordered their books directly from Amazon (at a discount as I found out this morning (nice Amazon, really?)) and received their books yesterday.

I don't fault Paizo for this, I fault Amazon for dropping the ball. You would think that a distribution company like that would have much better logistics. Heck, there's a warehouse in Dallas, TX which could have had my books to me in 3 days, but now I'm content with the PDF.

Huh, look at that, it really does say Amazon Warehouse. I didn't even notice that.

Thanks for the clarification, Joana!

It doesn't specify which one though. There's one in Dallas which takes less than three days to ship from to where I am.

I don't think it's entirely right that those who went to GENcon or some other -con have had access to the material and freedom to post it on the internet while those of us who paid for it in April have to wait until whenever 11-20 business days from July 13 will be. Guess I just have to wait until the PDF is available. Although the pregen characters are already available for download on some sites. Just seems a little off balanced.
Everyone with access to the documentation from GenCon and others are under NDA to not release any of it. The pregens were allowed to be previewed officially, anything else is posted against the direction of Paizo.

So this:

Is against the rules? We all know that everyone follow the rules, I mean, that's why we have jails and such right?

Has this been changed to three PFS scenarios on august 7th (which would be generous enough imo) or will there be more in september?

Thank you for your time and dedication! :-)
We'll have three adventures premiering at Gen Con and releasing to the public just after the convention, with one more coming out on September 26th. As it happens, we just released a Pathfinder Society blog that has a lot more to say on what Organized Play has to offer for the playtest at Gen Con and beyond, including titles and levels for each of the scenarios, rewards you can earn for playtesting, how to give feedback, and tips for running playtest events.
