All I really want to know is...what happened to roleplaying and creating your character as the story progresses based on actions, situations, and plot developments that occur during game? Has almost everyone lost the desire to roleplay or has table top gaming almost subcumbed to the WoW/EQ type playing?
If your character starts out as a wizard and you are ROLEPLAYING a wizard...what would make you suddenly change your career path in life to something like loremaster? What about your idea of one level of justicar? what would possibly first of all tempt a Justicar into training you? I could go on and on...but really...why is it now just ability combinations and not what would the character actually do based on their life experiences?
Sorry...just bothers me when all discussions seem to revolve around are stats and abilites, not roleplaying value or character evolution/growth.
