GM Roll:

Korrin looks at Ferian suspiciously for a long moment, the guards glance at him but he shrugs and reaches into his coat and produces a jewelled hip flask and takes a swig, "Ahh! A schnifter of the good stuff. Time to go, the exit is this way..."

Appraise DC 18:
In the brief glance you got saw that hip flask is encrusted with rubies which seems excessively expensive, thousands of gold. Perhaps it's enchanted...

Ferian, Edwin and Yukarii are firmly ushered off the premisses.

Good point Ferian! Unless you let them know somehow (or they choose to go listen) they're currently down in the engineering hold. Lets say it's DC28 for Xindyra to get the gist of the conversion from there. She's unlikely to make that but it could happen.

After Edwin and Yukarri disembarked, Korrin wheezed slurring his words a bit, "That all of you?"

You'll need a bluff roll if you want to lie.

Perception DC 14:
Up close he stinks like a brewery, frankly he's more than a little sloshed but he seem to sort to be able to handle it. He has penalties on his sense motive score.

Sense Motive DC 20:
While he's naturally suspicious you don't think he knows how many of you there are.

Harbourmaster Korrin chews on Ferian's words for a long moment before wheezing his reply, "All right then son, glad you've chosen the reasonable course. Lets get out of here, it's cold and as the lady says you lot have not eaten. As for my job, I don't feel now's the time for chit chat."

The tension seems to dial back a fraction as he waits for you to disembark.

Sense Motive DC 18:
You realise now that he was looking for an excuse to rough you up. If you comply he'll likely let you go, but any funny business and he or more accurately his men will turn on you. You get the sense that they'd enjoy dishing out a sound beating if they thought they could legally get away with it.

The man nodded slightly at Yukarii but frowned at Ferian before drawling, "Son, you've had the best part of six hours to do fifteen minutes work. I'm sure that pretty document of yours requires reasonable access but it doesn't give you carte blanche to do as you like. It's late, my men here would like to go home, are ye gonna keep em up?"

There was a definite undertone of menace in his question and the men behind shifted as if stirring to the possibility of violence.

Before Farian could answer Yukarii's question you hear a solid slap and a gasp followed by low wheezing voice, "B***** off Fred if you know what's good for you. I've told you before this area is off limits."

You look over the rails of the boat to see a fat wheezing slob of a man with a half a dozen mean looking security guards approach the Dawn Treader. Hands on his hips, he pauses to catch his breath before wheezing closer. The man is approaching fifty, disheveled, wider than he is taller, with nasty beady eyes and heavy jowls. He has a handlebar mustache and a much battered hat that's clearly seen better days.

He calls out to you, "Ahoy the ship! I hear you've got yourself a court order and have been doing a little inspecting... Last one took all of fifteen minutes and it's been the better part of six hours now. High time for you to leave. I'd suggest you come out nice and peaceful like, wouldn't want to have any misunderstanding."

Sense Motive DC 18:
You think he'd very much like for there to me a "misunderstanding", however you think he's afraid of the courts.

You need about another 90 minutes work to finish the job but the lion's share of the work is done.

The Harbor Master turns crimson and scolds Filbert, "I'm not fooled by the likes of you. Returning to type eh? Once a thug always a thug! I'll be reporting this incident to the proper authorities!" He abruptly turns to leave and walks or more accurately waddles away as fast his plump little legs will carry him.

"I’m not making them reload it," says the fat man in an ill-fitting harbormaster’s jerkin, "And you’d best be on your way shortly, shorty."
Some how despite his dishevelled appearance the man managed to be incredibly pompous which on reflection was quite an achievement.
