Personally, I've owned or had access to Adobe's Creative Suite, so I wasn't all that familiar with the precise terms used by Acrobat Reader. I'm sorry if my post wasn't clear.

When I've had any light- to heavy-lifting to do with PDF manipulation, I've tended to just open Illustrator and go from there.

I'm pleased Reader X allows such simple cut-and-paste of images; I tried using Acrobat Pro 9 and it was a bit more convoluted to select images when compared to Acrobat Reader X.

Has anyone tried Acrobat Reader 10 yet with extracting Images from Pazio PDFs?

I just downloaded and installed Reader X a few minutes ago, and was able to copy several images from my local copy of the GameMastery Guide and paste them into a few applications (if that's what you mean by "extracting Images" Dragnmoon).

I'm using a Mac, so your mileage may vary.
