The play niggled at a memory a long time ago about something that started with a 'p'. Per- Perspect- no. Per-something. It was a big word. A hard word. His paw was good at breaking them down. Still there was plenty in the story about bravery, courage, and loyalty. He knew those words well enough. "Food?" he mumbles, hearing the crier. He stands and follows his nose and ears through the crowd, pardoning his way through. Food was good. A food competition sounded even better. He approaches the crier, saying simply, "I like food."

Hanz's eyes sparkle like a child as he beholds the festival grounds. Pretty colors, wondrous sounds, and lots of things to do. Though he still walks near the caravan, he is no longer paying any attention to it as he stands on the tips of his toes to see all the fun that is available. The puppeteers draw his attention the most. It is obvious he would rather stay and watch and play rather than head home right now.

But she didn't look worried. Only angry. He didn't do well around angry people. But the people she yelled at were grabbing and lifting things. He could do that. He could do that real good. With his large physique and strength, it was easy to see why Hanz was part of the shields. Such strength would lend itself well to a fight. He was also naturally nice and protective. But the longer one watched him, the more they started to question if he'd really be up to any fight. His face is full of such childish wonder as they travel down the road it is hard to see him ever hurting anyone, even in defense.

Kelisa was swiftly becoming Hanz's favoritest person, second only to Paw. He loaded up a plate with more than just bacon though, Paw said he needed more than meat though. Like a house needed stone, wood, and mortar, his body needed, bread, meat, vegetables, and fruit. He called it a balanced diet but Hanz didn't know what that meant. He just grab a bunch of stuff and hoped it was enough. He was still big and strong so he must be doing something right. He gives a rumbling "Hello," to each new person that wandered over to join the team. Inil, a red man with horns, Maxim, the rhymy little person. That still left two more if his finger math was right. Hanz gathers up several plates of food, even carrying some in his mouth, to go join StoneShield in the armory. He wasn't really hungry anymore but the others might want some.

I see the roll as more of a gauge as to how well he was using the skill. Quite well in this case. And others should at least respect that. I don't think laughing and exacerbating the situation was the right call but that's just me. Me and my friends are not opposed to a little friendly pvp if the sitaution calls for it.

Hanz looks towards the tough but sees nothing. It takes him a little longer than most to finally look down and see the gnome by his side. He is forced to lift an arm to see her. "Am fine. I Hanz. The floor rumbles as something very large approaches the door. It opens to reveal a massive man taking up the entire frame. And tall enough you can't see his face. He pauses for a moment, then ducks to entire, taking almost a comical amount of care to enter without breaking anything. Once fully in he still comes close to smacking his head on a ceiling beam. He is not pretty with his slightly thicker forehead, bushy eyebrows and off kilter jaw. It is also apparent he is not that bright as it takes him several moments to find Alinna (she is forced to wave him over). "Hello Ali," he says a little louder than necessary. His voice is a deep base that you can almost feel in your bones and his smile is full of square, blokish teeth. Surprisingly straight though. At least he's friendly. He makes his way over with the same comical care he took to get in. He manages to make his way over without too many mishaps and finds an open seat. He pulls it back and flops down. It holds for about a second before there is a loud snap and Hanz ends up on the floor. He hurridly gets up and surveys the damage. "Oh no. Hanz did bad," he mumbles as he tries to put the broken pieces back together. He almost gets something resembling a chair before it falls apart again. He looks sadly at the pieces. Giving up, he scoots into the spot the chair was and sets on the floor. He looks over at Ali, embarrassed, "Sorry, I's broke ano'der."

He had intended to look at the crops to see if they might be red or had little horns. He was still stuck on devil crops. He turns and says, "I like dinner," matter of factually. Everything else good wait until after.

His pack included a shovel actually sized to his build and he started moving vast quantities of earth with rapidly. He then tosses the bodies of the Tyrg into the hole and begins to cover them.

Davco points out the disease's similarity to mummy rot and the flow of the infection. So Hanz opens one Tryg's mouth and sees more evidence of infection. He then takes a pocket knife, which looks like a butter knife in his hand, and deftly opens the beast's stomach. More infection and a small blue gem are revealed. Hanz grabs the gem and holds it close, starring for a long time at it but not recognizing it. He puts it down and concludes with "Ate something bad. Really bad."

He looks around and immediately becomes timid. He leans down to the closets party member and asks, "I do good or bad." He saw that the farmers were wounded and that was enough to make him worry.

He closes in on the nearest Tyrg and, with surprising accuracy in his angry state, sends the beast flying without hitting anyone else. Attack+raging: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 8 + 2 = 26
Move to nearest and standard attack. I am surprised none of them have used their special ability. A few failed saves and this fight would have turned in their favor.
