I for one am very interested in joining and helping you create your group. I live in Burwood, but I have no trouble accessing different areas for the sake of gaming.
I checked the SydCon schedule and I didn't see any Pathfinder games there. I would assume that all Pathfinder Society games will be hosted at Risen Rune at the Glebe Hotel.
Probably hopping on to Jubei for Sydney Game day and save the last XP to level 11 for Blacktown Game day.
QUESTION FOR GMS:
If I neglected to loot a body for gold, is the amount left behind deducted from the Chronicle Sheet?
I can't speak for other GM's, but I will generally give the party the gold if someone has been 'defeated'. There are certain times where I don't reward the full gold, but you have to be actively denying something or go out of your way to avoid certain things for that to happen.
GM Halved my gp loot because we didn't loot the bodies or did a diplomacy check to get extra stuff from NPCs from First Steps 3.
All my elves for PFS all hail from Jinin, but for some reason, none of them can legally speak the main language [Tien] without picking up Linguistics. You'd think being there for hundreds of years would force an entire nation of misplaced Elves to learn the language of their neighbours. Especially when the Emperor himself has a Minkaian name.
Domestically, yes their specialist units fight their old demon, but the fluff I've read doesn't portray them strongly as opponents of evil. There is the Callistria worship matter and its darkness, but Kyonin is not the centre of paladins. They are a bit too isolationist, flighty and focused on high culture/gardening/feuding to all be out fighting the good fight.
Okay, maybe they don't fight for the sake of Good, but they do fight when they can. I felt that one of the things that can prove this is that Elves have free weapon proficiencies whilst humans do not, which is an implication to me that an elf can and will fight, regardless of his/her vocation. E.g. I am a humble baker, but if you try to raze my village, you will taste the elven blade I used to slice my bread with.
Given their promiscuity and long life spans, I'd imagine that they should be far more numerous than they are presented in the setting, easily rivaling the human populace in sheer numbers. Perhaps they suffered from a plague of some kind?

Being a martial artist and martial arts enthusiast myself, I dislike the idea of a "Monk" being generalised as a Lawful, chi-popping member of some oriental order. But I guess there isn't a simpler term for it and they really didn't look into it much when it first came out.
As for Monks not belonging in a setting like Golarion, has anyone told this guy that there's Mecha and Aliens in this realm? Break it to him slowly, he might not be able to take the shock.
I had a group actually play a game where we get teleported into a D&D realm. The campaign was called "Immersion". We had to use stats as what we (approximately) possess.
I was a Barbarian.
STR 15
DEX 12
CON 11
INT 8
WIS 9
CHA 12
Feats: Improved Unarmed Strike
A fun thing we learned later in the game is that we were counted as Outsiders instead of humanoids.

Hm... this is kinda getting more Alignment/Pantheon-topiced than I expected. Relevant, I expected, but not to become the dominant issue.
I kind of prefer the Elf standards of the Forgotten Realms. Innately good, more reserved towards outsiders yet unquestionably passionate with those they let in.
Take for example Innovindil from Drizzt's The Hunter's Blades trilogy:
Spoiler:
Her mate died in battle just days ago, and yet she threw herself at Drizzt when they got alone.
Pretty much Drizzt goes "That's quite a short mourning period for an elf,"
She then teaches him about how love like an elf, having many lovers throughout the centuries of both human and elf. The point is not to live a ridiculously long tifetime, but to live through many different lifetimes through the ages.
So, yeah... that kinda justifies the quick 'getting over it' period.
Batman and The Punisher would both be worshippers of Calistria: They dedicate themselves nightly to avenge the deaths of their families on criminals.
Being a Batman fan, I would greatly disagree. If seen for vengeance alone, Batman's parents have long been avenged. His ongoing crusade against criminality goes far beyond that.
I'd prefer that Elves were give the same versatility as humans would have. I mean, I'd like to play an elf that's a womanising perv because he is so, not because he was designed that way, like elves are.
They live for a bazillion years and worship a goddess who is the archetypal high school petty and spiteful cheerleader that sleeps with the whole football team.
And the basketball team, soccer team, lacrosse team, gymnast team, the band, the computer club, the drama club, the goths, the gearheads, the ROTC, and the cheerleaders.
Just doing a bit of browsing around the history and stories on some prominent elves in the realm of Golarion. I mean, I shouldn't generalise based on the fact that Calistria's a major god to them, but then I read about Merisiel, Lirianne's (Gunslinger Iconic)mum, Seltyiel's dad...
I dunno.
I mean, I do play an elf ninja who is a bit of a perv himself (he he he).
Cha 16 (Playboy by day, terribly frightening by night)
He fights crime all night.
When he's not fighting crime, he's training.
When he's not training, he's memorizing useless s*!& in case the Riddler uses it in some riddle.
And I assume he sleeps at some point.
When the hell is he putting on the "Bruce Wayne, playboy" facade?
He should be known as a recluse who people aren't even sure actually exists...not a playboy.
He can take three to five hours of daylight time to manage his businesses and about an hour or two to socialise on early night. He can take nights off as Gotham is patrolled by 7 or so others from Batman Inc. Even Robin (current, Damian Wayne) does solo patrols. But I imagine he takes time off patrols to do major investigations.
It's a monk that doesn't have to be lawful. That right there makes it awesome.
That's exactly why I'm taking it. I've been waiting years for this archetype. I don't really understand how the creators of the game would think that all martial arts styles=shaolin.
My character was trolling him the entire adventure by associating each phallic object we come across with Torch. He had to make Will saves each time. Almost convinced the GM that he's beginning to go gay for Torch as I kept reminding him.
After that adventure, all DMs are informed that the character must have some minor Torch-related event in every adventure he's in. XD
