I am def. interested. Sounds... unusual. I'll prolly submit a depressed, slightly alcoholic minotaur fighter in a little. Fighter cuz I'm new to PF or D&D, the rest cuz it seems interesting. Surly, angry, grumpy. -Not- antagonistic, however, just unhappy and looking for more, coping with teh booze. I think its hilarious picturing a Minotaur passed out at the bar.
Not sure what I missed. Did I forget to include anything on the stat block/character sheet? I'm still fairly new to all of this, and possibly forgot something. Oh! I see I missed the detail about starting time. Let me try this again... :) Character Name: William Poole

Feats and Traits: Scholar (Engineering/Arcana)
Reactionary
Background: William had an... interesting childhood in Egorian. His father was a scribe who stressed the importance of learning. William took this to heart. School nearly bankrupted the family, but William worked as hard as he could. The kids teased and made fun of William, his bookish nature, and often ink-stained hands. William further retreated into his books. The hard work paid off, and his learning and natural curiosity was enough to land an invitation to the University of Egorian. His first year roommate, another hard working child from a lower background, David Womersly, just happened to be an avid fencer. Idle chatter while training turned into an interest in exploring and finding the unknown or undiscovered. The two explored caves, abandoned castles and forgotten villages in search of interesting things. A junior professorship followed, and in between working and teaching, William and David continued to make yearly expeditions. Two years ago, things changed. William missed a trap inside an old castle keep, and David was killed. After a long depression, William found enough energy to look into this expedition organized by the Paracount. Maybe this would be enough to keep William going, or perhaps a last hurrah in honor of his friend.

Character Name: Dann
Idea: I think Dann wants to be an older (40s) Indiana Jones-type character. Mostly a teacher/professor, perhaps tinkerer, who has an issue with finding adventures now and again. Will flesh out and try my hand at building him after football. Thanks!

Feats and Traits:
Eschew Materials (Class) Silent Spell Resilient
Background (The good stuff): Rowan was never really a part of gnome culture. His father, Keegan, like his father before him, had a different set of talents that made living with others a bit tricky. Keegan said that it was a gift of the gods, but Rowan doubted that, given the way his dad wasted away slowly. The family felt a... connection with those that had passed from the world. Rowan's dad taught that it was their duty to help, to protect those who did not understand from what they did not understand. Rowan had few friends growing up. He would get into fights, often provoked by others who did not understand him. The easiest defense mechanism was to put up a wall; others were not to be trusted, and Rowan learned that making himself appear scarier or meaner than he really was did the best job. It wasnt their fault, they just could not get what Rowan and his dad did. He left his father when he was barely old enough, and looked to start his own life. He too wanted to help, his father's lessons strongly imprinted in his personality, but also had a desire for more. To see more and to learn more. Rowan stands 2 feet and 10 inches tall, maybe 30 pounds soaking wet. Dressed in all black robes, his dark blue skin and bright orange hair contrast somewhat dramatically.
I assume by crunch you mean numbers and stuff, right? In that case... Janya Crunch: Its like a normal candy bar, with a side of orc. Be kind, its primarily from HeroLab. All comments/corrections appreciated. Lvl 1 Female Half-Orc Cleric (Shelyn)

I see people seem to make different names for each char, so I will if this guy, errr girl, gets accepted. I did a make up build thing in Herolab (clutch!) and using some cleric guides I found. They all seem to want this gal to be super-optimized or something, but that seems lame. Anywho... I present Janya, a half-orc cleric of Shelyn. Janya: Janya was raised among other devotees of Shelyn. Circumstances of her birth are not clear, but some other kids told her she was abandoned there. Maybe to make her feel bad, maybe to tell the truth. She was always studious, and while she never excelled the way some of the other kids did, she worked until she understood whatever she was being taught. She felt at home at the temple(??). What did stand out was her appearance. Clearly not completely human, Janya was a little bigger, and different looking than other kids. She did her best to fit in, and a warm personality developed. Several weeks ago, picked on by young men in the town while shopping, Janya snapped. While she healed the two men responsible, the temple made the decision that her actions, her violence, violated their rules. Janya found herself adrift. At an inn one night, traveling to a new town, trying for a new life, she bumped into a number of other travelers. With Janya possibly too trusting, they set out the next day together, hoping to make the Travelers Stop Inn by nightfall. Lets see. The stats I picked were:
I tried to make her studious (hence the high wis), average intelligence, charming but with issues due to her looks (the cha) and overall of solid build.
