Liberty's Edge

Scott, let me add my kudos and thanks. I was going to do the Scales of War with my group and started thinking of doing a more RP in depth mod (I was thinking of converting the Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh) but now am going to do RotRL in 4e, thanks to you!

The story within a set of footnotes reminds me of Pale Fire by Nabokov. The book is a poem (it has been years - I do not remember what the poem is about) but the footnotes start out a literary but we find that the footnoter believes himself to be the exhiled King of Zembla and that the poem is an allegory for his, clearly imaginary, life.

While I'm at it, does anyone have the coats of arms for the major houses in Keoland? Just a description and major colors would be great.

Daigle - Have a basic topographical map finished. Will keep you posted.

So how is that map of Gradsul coming? I could use it this weekend.

I know this is something of an ages old problem but ... I can't seem to find players or a game! I had a large group of friends when I was younger that all played regularly but they have all moved by now to the four corners of the earth :) I want to get back into playing, but have had no luck finding other players

I have posted in the Gamer Connection section of this site but there would seem to be no other Harrisburg area / central Pennsylvania players. I have also tried to go through the RPGA, but that is kind of a catch 22: in order to join the RPGA, you need to find local chapters or players, which leads more or less back to my main problem!

Anyone have any advice? Anyone out there in the Harrisburg area / central Pennsylvania area that is looking for players or knows of a good game? How about some insight on how to "break into" the RPGA loop?

Thanks everyone!

they are gamers in central PS. They do one or two cons a year and play in state college and gettysburg, I am not sure about Harrisburgh.

The only seaworthy ship the Rat's End pirates have but what kind of ship is it? Did I miss the description and/or stats? Help please.

What? I thought you wanted stats for Abe Simpson's army unit, the Fighting Hellfish.

I am going to run AoW for a group of 3 or 4 new players and one experienced player. I keep hearing that AoW is tough so I thought that I would give let the group be more advanced before getting to AoW. I was thinking of running them through the Sunless Citadel first; then they would be third level when starting AoW. Is that too high? Should I run them just up to level two?
thanks
