Hooray! Thanks for running this for us GM Frost. Poppets never not fun. Now I just need to make my poppet swashbuckler Princess Polkadot and my armadillo gunslinger Tex Arcane. Although now that awakened animals are legal I might make Tex an actual armadillo.

Marcella stares in disbelief as the armor and animated objects fall lifeless to the floor. That moment is brief however and soon a broad smile lights up the poppet's face. "You did it, Cutie! You did it! I thought we were headed for the Boneyard for sure!" She gives the stuffed poppet a huge hug. "You all did great" She grab Hellup and the Tin Wizard with each arm and draws them in for a hug as well.

Not sure why you're jumping instead of just moving. Rule of cool? Also you need to add another +1 to hit and +1d12 damage for runic weapon and +1 for fury instinct. You probably hit anyway since he's -2 AC for flanking and -1 AC due to clumsy.

I hope you guys don't think that I'm being pushy issuing orders like that. It just seems like the sort of thing that Marcella would do in a grim situation like this. Obviously if you have better ideas then by all means go ahead. I was all but ready for a TPK until I reread the description of the armor and the results of my recall knowledge and had a lightbulb moment. Maybe this could work?

GM Frost. Would it be possible to use thievery to snatch the gem from the armor?

I just noticed a big omission on hellpup's familiar. As a remastered witch with the the faith's flamekeeper patron (Statblock doesn't say so but it has to be since that is the only divine witch and the only one that grants Stoke the Heart.) Flappy should be a familiar of restored spirit, granting 3 temp HP to one creature within 15 feet whenever Hellpup casts or sustains a hex.

As we are getting our butts kicked right now that might be useful.

"Well I learned a bit about wards and similar things in my previous life but I find it easier to simply avoid them. Like so." Marcella quickly cartwheels, leaps and tumbles past the various eldritch impediments.

I'm envisioning those scenes in heist movies where the hero tumbles through the web of lasers to get to the vault or some such because it's much cooler than simply sneaking by. I'm pretty sure that I critically failed that knowledge check. Unless it was successful I would not have been able to deal sneak attack damage to Tsk and he would only have taken 14 damage.

"The coast is clear. All we need to do now is find that deed and make our escape. That'll teach Vreen a lesson."

She gives the contents of the room a appraising look. "It's too bad we don't have time to clean this place out. Some of this stuff looks like we could make a pretty copper fencing it."

She steps over to a box of silverware that catches her eye and picks it up. "Ugh! It's heavy." She whistles softly as she opens it. "Nice set too. A little tarnished but I bet we could sell this to Jimmy the Nose for at least 20 gold crowns." She sighs and pockets four butter knives. "This will have to do for now."

She reaches down and scratches Rosie behind her ears.
