I'm hoping for some assistance in how to interpret the potential interaction of these two feats from those of you who are better at interpreting the rules than I am. I have a guess, but maybe someone can guide me through the wording here a bit.
Ebb and Flow: 1 Action
You can pull forth both positive and negative energy simultaneously to harm your enemies and heal your allies. If your next action is to cast a 1-action or 2-action heal or harm spell, choose one creature in range that would be harmed by the spell, and choose another creature within range that would be healed by the spell. Your heal or harm targets both creatures.
Fast Channel:
Divine power is always at your fingertips, swiftly responding to your call. When you cast harm or heal by spending 2 actions, you can get the effects of the 3-action version instead of the 2-action version.
You can do this with harm if you have harmful font or heal if you have healing font (or both if you have Versatile Font).
Note: Versatile Font is a pre-requisite for Ebb and Flow.
Let's take the example: Assuming a cleric has both feats and decides to spend the first action of their turn on Ebb and Flow, then spends 2-actions to cast the 2-action heal spell.
What are the actual results/consequences?
A) Clerics cannot use these two feats together, therefore they have to choose: Option 1)only 1 creature is harmed and 1 creature is healed or Option 2) Effectively (but not efficiently) have cast a 3-action heal spell.
B) Clerics select one creature to be harmed, but every creature (barring the Selective Energy feat) within the area of the now "3-action heal" spell is subject to the heal. (Reverse this if Harm was the triggering spell instead).
C) All creatures within the spells' areas, as if a 3-action heal and 3-action harm spell were cast, are subject to both harm and heal (again, barring Selective Energy).
C-follow-up) If Selective Energy comes into play, how many creatures get excluded from each spell/the combined spell?
D) Other.
Thanks in advance!
